You have to understand the connecting storyline from previous Monsta X MVs/Films to fully appreciate this video. They’re going to release a performance video after the views hit a certain amount and I think that’ll be more of your cup of tea Terry. As a Monbebe following the storyline which connects so many videos from 2016 until now & The Connect Music Film (basically a special MV) and even concert VCRs, this video ties into all of those. It’s like a puzzle but instead of getting the last piece you only got one piece so I understand why you felt like there was too much going on. I think if you just watch Dramarama, the “Music Film”, the “Previous Film”, Shoot Out and then came back to this video it would make a lot more sense.
Actually, while this is accurate, it was going on from debut. At least that's what I put together and a few other Monbebes think so too. Watch "Seven Deadly Sins" anime and you'll see. As for the outside scene, I just think Monsta X were a group of spies(?) and their missions as to break into this warehouse or something. The rooms they were in were just something they went through. A little background-Their story is somewhat confusing since it started with The Clan which is All in, Figter, and Beautiful the story ended with Beautiful kinda with a cliff hanger....Even the boys themselves during All in era said that it would be explained in the future...they started a new story line with Dramarama which the story centered around Hyungwon (which the story is still somewhat centered around him but, is also centered around Changkyun aka I.M in Shoot Out) it then traveled into The Connect album with Destroyer and Jealousy....This all apparently from the theories I myself and other Monbebe's have made is that this ties into The Clan and is explaining what happened either to or after The Clan ended..... Currently now the boys are apparently Seven Deadly Sins....I myself is still trying to figure out how this ties in with Shoot Out....Sorry if this is all so confusing lol

It might feel all over the place, but that's because they are connecting a lot of previous mvs into this. Dancing in the water was jealousy era, the chalkboard formulas was also jealousy (think destroyer film), some scenes remind me of dramarama and beautiful era. Idk how I forgot shootout ;-; Even the dance feels familiar, like they've got pieces from previous choreos. I love it!

I really want you to react to more of them and their older stuff because is hella underrated, like All in, Hero, Shine forever, Trespass are just bops that you need to listen, Monsta x is just great!
It might feel all over the place, but that's because they are connecting a lot of previous mvs into this. Dancing in the water was jealousy era, the chalkboard formulas was also jealousy (think destroyer film), some scenes remind me of dramarama and beautiful era. Idk how I forgot shootout ;-;
Even the dance feels familiar, like they've got pieces from previous choreos. I love it!
