    I agree and I have to say. Thanks for the critical review from a retailer! I was so excited when I held the rifle in my hands for the first time at the IWA. there it was still wood and the magazine had the gas tank. This year then the big disappointment with the plastic. That devalues the rifle extremely. There can still be a lot of metal. Both hands have constant contact only with plastic! The feeling doesn't match the price at all. What a pity....very bad. Should there be anything with wood in the future, then I'll be there.

    I hope that G&G will produce an M1 Garand GBBR with this exact same system, a gas "clip" magazine.
    Another great step to a "plinking" M1 airsoft.

    The G&G Lee Enfield I saw as IWA was real wood and gas was stored in the clip or mag (had the option to use the clip or a traditional mag to hold gas and BB's).
    I don't understand why they decided to completely redesign it and come away from real wood and make it out of plastic.
    The limitations on the spring ones is not being able to rapid fire it, which I was excited that the gas version would allow us to do the "mad minute".
    And the price? You can get the REAL WOOD spring versions for less. G&G have turned a potential class leader to a disappointment.

      At least it's cheaper than RWA's trainwreck and wayy cheaper than KTW's. I think it ain't too bad

    "Gas blowback." Yeah a doubt that very much.

    The missing real wood is a real no-go for me.
    That magazine idea is something unique; I'll give them that, even though it's not realistic I like the idea to have an indicator when the mag is empty and the shape of the magazine itself is also unique.
    Still, a dissapointment. I liked their Springfield and K98 replicas more.

    I did a lot of shooting with No4's at my school cadets. I've got a 'thing' for the buttery smooth bolt action of the real thing, so however disappointing the rest of the gun is I'd still like to try one out.
    Does the bolt show some resistance on closing? That's the key thing of the Lee Enfield action when compared to the Mauser action of most bolt-action rifles. Without a bit of a resistance (and the feeling of some mechanical engagement) when the bolt lever is pushed forward and down, it'll be an empty experience... like operating a latch bolt on a gate.

    • @Hjerte_Verke
      @Hjerte_Verke 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      The resistance is otherwise known as "cock-on-closing" (the action type) just for reference.

    Nice try G&G but with a plastic stock and no scoped variant, I really feel like this was rushed out to compete with Ares and S&Ts own Enfield’s.

    The brass/gold colored pins and rivets seen all over the rifle are legit, but since they're brass in reality they oxidize and get dull quickly. So historically accurate, yes indeed they are Mr. British-Accent Guy

    One thing we need to look into with this one is: were enfields all used as sniper rifle's? No, it was like the modern day m4/m416 but for the commonwealth so we should think of it like this: it isn't meant to shoot the fastest but it doesn't make it useless

  • @alexeysaphonov232

    The word "blowback" in the title seems badly wrong. Bolt rifles are no blockback by definition.

  • @Deer-Hirsch

    Use stronger gas and change hopup should then make a better performance.
    Maybe the barrel too.

    • @joelm5509

      Indeed, using .2 or .25 bb's for chrono and range test is kinda dumb, since those weights are too light for any gas rifle really.

    if they put a co2 slot in the magazine instead of clip ejection - apparently they have had a strong ambition on this - the gun could be much more useable.
    I'm a serious fan of LEs but with this weird feeding system I believe it made the gun not fit on neither the field nor wall.

    I'm interested as to how your chrono results ended up WILDLY different compared to I AM AIRSOFT's results. They said they allegedly got ~410 fps with .3s while you ended up getting ~330 with .2s. I don't doubt your results, but something's not right here and I don't know what.
    Edit: After reading their review they published in their magazine, they also stated they got 460-440 fps with .2s, for a more apples to apples comparison.

    • @enriqueavellan190
      @enriqueavellan190 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Pretty sure its because RW reviews Asia version guns with lower power levels due to legal limits where they are based, I dont think they've ever chronoed a gun above 460 fps on .2s.

  • @WitchDoctor87

    This is an insane cost for something that gimps you so much. This gun doesn't match to its cost at all to me. $500 for fake wood, bolt action, 5 shot gun?? What justified this $500 price tag?? $500 you can make a handgun that out guns this thing. Value should be a 1 or half star at best.
