Steveo...I love your videos. I gained my private pilot, instrument and commercial ratings (with about 75 hours multi-engine prop time) right after high school back in 1982. I had every intention of becoming a professional pilot but got discouraged when my flight instructors who had huge amounts of flight hours where finding it difficult to get jobs as a professional pilots. Long story short, I now own a business (non-aviation related) and simply yearn to get back in the cockpit. Your videos remind me of my love of flying and the sensations and sense of pride you have from doing something the average person doesn't get to experience. Thank you for bringing back my passion!

Hey Steveo your videos are as always awesome. Wake turbulance is a scary thing to get caught up in. Went up for a flight a while back we were coming into land in Victoria BC. We were on a base leg in a cessna 182 and a dash 8 was on final. His wake was moved by the wind and hit us. Basically fealt like going over a speed bump at 70km. We both hit our heads on the ceiling. Fun times.

Great to see Reggie back with you again ! Haven't seen him in way too long ! Any time I think of "sock check", I think of Reggie lol! I agree with Steveo on American Airlines. I find they maintain a better selection of post-toddler age passenger, crawling over/under the seats, tossing any unsecured objects available in the seat pockets and screaming in a clear, intelligible voice, during flight. I flew Southwest a while back, was able to relax and never even had my drink spilled. Far too uneventful and mundane, compared to the aerial daycare, we've all come to enjoy. Good video guys, look forward to more Reggie in the future !

What upper limit indicated airspeed do you use during descent? Is 1,600 ft/min the most efficient use of your energy for increasing your average speed during your flight to the maximum? Efficient use of all the energy you burn from the fuel is a good goal. Airplanes are made to go fast from A to B, and achieving the highest average speed between A & B is a good measure of getting there fastest.
