Everyone saying that Okita won thanks to the power of friendship when Susanoo's weapon was literally created by others, by "Friendship". Okita was simply pushed by his comrades, Susanoo was fighting until the last chapter thanks to others.
Low key the idea that Okita had wings like the butterfly and after all of susano’s swings with nothing that okita landing a solid hit “breaking the boulder” and the swordsman could no longer swing his sword anymore was kind of a cool allusion, that okita with one solid landing was able to accomplish what susano physically strove for for years. Idk if this was intended but I think you could kind of look at it this way!
I honestly think this Is either my second or third favorite fight of the series. Jack vs Heracles is still on top for me but this fight can easily be second.
I love this round Both fighters gave it their all and fought to the absolute bitter end and both we're bada*s giga chads like bro I love everything about this fight
I agree this fight is fantastic, it’s one of the best fights in the story. I’m glad that Soji Okita won, but I’m also sad that Susanoo died. I really really hope that Soji Okita survives, he has already been announced as the winner and it doesn’t make sense for him to be declared the winner only to then die right after winning. I mean why would they say that Soji wins and then he dies and then they say it’s a draw, I don’t get that and I don’t like it and I sincerely hope that it doesn’t happen. Either way thanks for the update👍🏻
I think that they may pull his volundr out because okita never used it maybe some healing type of Valkyrie which would kinda make sense being that he died of TB so maybe his Valkyrie heals his body repeatedly past his limits because okita only used his skill and demon side
Susanoo won, but Okita got mangaka bias on his side. One of the best fights in the series ruined (imo) due to an ass pull lmao. It can still be saved if Okita dies next chapter and Zeus says it's a tie since he's still on the field
Also I don’t think it was an ass pull either y’all reason being since susano didn’t kill okita in the first mushukou strike that’s the turning point where he lost the fight because of the strain it put on his body he basically cut his power in half after that strike which is why the mangaka had Susano explain the recoil and the backstory for it which was a huge death flag so due to the fact that he didn’t kill okita in the first strike only crippling him and having to release another mushukou strike after a 50% debuff the strike to okita a shoulder wasn’t strong enough to be fatal but it did wound him and yes the cheering gave okita the extra push to stay locked in and get his last attack off before susano could get a third one off which was going to kill him any way
Haha if you an OG Anime fan...YOU have to know Friendship is a STAPLE on the story telling goes back to OG dragonball even further...at this point you just have to sit back & accept it.. I think it's up to the writers to give ne perspective s
Okita managed do enough damaged to prevent Susano final attack. Susano final attack also did recoil damaged to him which gave Okita enough for his final blow. What that being say I still think Kojiro Sasaki top both sword men with his thousand fold adapt ability, perceptions and visualizing his opponents skills and movements. Nevertheless this round was definitely one of the better fights.
hm, for the next round, do you think it will be Anubis VS Rasputin? after all, in world history, Rasputin did "defy death" a couple of times before it finally caught up to him, he survived being poisoned and shot only to end up drowning, and while historically, his powers as a healer were rumored to be a sham, he might have some real powers in the manga
Hmmm....I honestly like the way this fight ended however I do call bs on Okita also surviving that last attack from Susanoo that should've destroyed his vitals. I kinda figured the authors would make their character win but I was expecting a tie or even a swerve where Susanoo barely won. I wonder if we haven't seen the consequences of Okita fully exhorting his body like his demon said he would die. So perhaps Okita will still die I'm the next chapter since he collapse how do we know when he collapsed after the death of Susanoo his heart didn't stop? I have a feeling in chapter 96 Okita could die at the beginning of the chapter which would shock everyone where Zeus would overturn the ruling from humanity winning to round 10 being a tie instead, since both warriors died. This will enraged Brunhilde because the ruling was changed and we'll get to see both fighters stepping into the fray at the end of this chapter
@nani458 very true if Okita doesn't die here where the ruling is turned it means perhaps there will be another tie yet to come. I mean there has to be since we have 14 human fighters and the gods have 13 fighters so far. So I believe Seigfried will be revealed as Odin's son with a mortal woman which will shock Brunhilde and fight for the gods, one of the humans will die before fighting probably Kintoki, or there will be a tie tht still happens. I believe that tie will be with Loki vs Nostradamus. If they want Odin to look even more imposing and the Norse gods all to look strong. I think Loki will die in his round. However, Loki will take out Nostradamus (humanities joker and who's implied to be one of if not their strongest warrior) in epic fashion, shocking everyone. Thor dominated his round, Loki dies but takes out one of humanities greatest warriors, and Odin dies in the final round in surprising and shocking fashion against an underdog while Odin might even harness the primordial gods power within himself while the final round is announced. I believe with Simo or Rasputin will be the final human fighter with Goll as the valkerie
It is also amazing that Okita is the only human fighter who didn't damage his Valkyrie. It reminded me of Zenitsu's sword theoughtout the story it didn't chipped break it is still his sword since the day he got it. And that is Okita Souji. He didn't let his Sword get chipped or break, and he was able to break Susano's Legendary Supremed Divine Sword. And it also shows that Okita is the superior Swordsman that Sasaki.
This has been one of the closest fights we’ve seen. But okita actually got nerfed, just like Zeus and shiva. They can’t maintain their overpowered forms for long. I respect susanoo but if okita didn’t have the drawback I think he would’ve beat susanoo with mid difficulty ngl
Why do I feel like the next match or the final match would be a team battle where there will be 2 members of each opposing team to fight just to present all fighters.
I don’t rule out a tie but I think it’ll be later on. It’s late into the tournament and a tie the later it goes throws the story all into wack. That anticipation is growing. I still don’t rule out a draw. Maybe round 12😭.
Throw your hopes, with RoR, there's no tie. It's very clear from the start. Either the author's favorite wins or the other gets pity victories. I predict that humanity will win considering that author hates Egyptian and middle east Gods.
@@nani458 nahhhhh you just don’t understand anime😂. This is the perfect time for a draw to happen. Especially with the spinoff going, the authors can’t just rush it or give us a tie when we all figured it out for this fight. Okita yes I get the biased but that’s about it IMO. All the other fights and winners weren’t really favorites because I wanted Tesla to win😭. Round 11-13 there will be a tie. You just won’t see it coming. You don’t think the authors thought about this before?
Biased ass ending. Power of friendship beats thousands of years of honing the craft. Next round is a guaranteed win for the gods. Hopefully Simo doesn’t go next ☝️

Okita also Used Air Pressure in his Thrust.
Just. Wow
Good point I initially missed this. It makes the final attack make so much more sense. This is how he covered the distance & why sano was caught.
Am I only one whose eyes started watering watching this lol thank you thank you thank you was very beautiful good round thank you thank you thank you
Everyone saying that Okita won thanks to the power of friendship when Susanoo's weapon was literally created by others, by "Friendship". Okita was simply pushed by his comrades, Susanoo was fighting until the last chapter thanks to others.
There's a difference between winning because you're fighting alongside your friend and fighting with the memento of your friend.

Spoiler
Ask JJK fans about offscreen
Because he's still in the battleground and Zeus can be petty that way. Plus, the injuries come from a mutual attack.
Tbh i think the no weapon technique destroyed the souls of people who achieved it, and for that reason they arent in the tournament
Okita is my fav character hands down
I honestly like susanoo a lot but thank goodness Souji won the fight because humanity needed a win.
9:08 Susano Dodged back as soon as Okita Thrust forwarded towards him.
Susano was trying to get some distance away.
Fucking Fantastic!!! Really hope we get to see this animated...hopefully a studio picks it up & does it justice.
Made no sence that Okita won. How the peak of a craft be beaten by just the will of another. Susano won in our hearts.
Okita Souji landed the First Strike, and he also finished it. So Poetic Writting. ❤❤❤

Peak theory, but knowing the author, that's very unlikely. He didn't even hide his favorites, he just showed it plainly and blatantly.

susano doing praise the sun pose its memeable moment 😅
Thanks for the videos.
In my opinion, both fighters are OP according to the Mysterious Weeb and fought them to the end. Overall, I ranked them in the top 5.
Awesome fight!
I wonder who is gonna fight next.
Really hope we get to see Simo or Rasputin.
Susanoo’s sword reminds me of Soft & Wet Go Beyond
Susanoo got wiped by his idol
