Great Video And review. I hears colonial heights. If thats the 1 in VA. Shout Out. My brother used to live down there. I subbed to you bro. TC all the way. The 6s kagama will break driveshaft pims from so much power andthe soft tires. Im going to put belted on mines.
Yep that's the one. Ace Hobbies. I put belted tires on it a wasnt a fan of it. But I also didn't have as much power going to it as I do now. May be worth trying again. Thanks for watching!
Nice mate 👍🏻 looking forward to this, another few weeks untill here in UK Skeeter tyres are good, I use them on my Asuga, think I'm gonna stick in 17t pinion straight away.
@@therchotspotYeah it's disappointing with the CVD pins, it's strange as in my kagama I'm still running my original cvd's from my shogun that are over two years old, never had an issue, but a few people I've seen have this issue with the 6 and 4 kagamas, ?
Yeah, my 6s Kagama took a while to break the pin. And after speaking with Team Corally, they think the 4s was a defect. It will be covered under warranty.
syncro-4 has updated front drive shafts also as the retaining steel band to stop pins from flying out are now fine spring steel wrapped around 3 times. I still put heat shink over them.
Looking at my syncro now it has the fine spring steel on it. I got it right when they were released so I'm not sure if they changed it and then changed it back at some point
Not watched your channel before, really fair review and I agree with you on the stickers. I've now seen quite a few videos with the driveshaft issue! I believe Corally made a change to them from the Syncro and there seems to be a issue with them. I know how this works the ones they tested will have been perfect but then something has gone wrong when it came to putting them into mass production, hopefully they address the issue quickly. Diff just smoked because of only being 3 wheel drive, that's a heavy car for for that and it's never advisable but I can see you just wanted some more run time with it. Been selling the Syncro since it came out and it's been mega, Corally have in fact made some small updates with the newest ones. The wheels aren't really tight to take off and they have sorted the motor mount holes and screws out so you can change the fixed gearing properly without any modification
@therchotspot as I'm in the UK and we get most things last, I wonder whether by the time we get them in the next couple of weeks the CVD will have been revised 🤔
I saw another video where they had the same problem.(can't recall name) He noticed it right before the steel band wrapped around the ball that holds the pin in completely came off. He fixed it by wrapping it in half inch shrink tubing and it looked like it would prevent it in the future. Hope Corally is listening, I love my corally, and i think this is a legit problem they should address.

I had the same issue with front joint and diff but they took good care of me. All set now!
Same here for me. I did an update video on it

When I fix it up I'm to go that same route as well

I wonder how it compares to the Skeeter?!
I ve seen a few 1st run vids end up this way! What a bummer dude.
