As someone w/ MS, Teri Garr being open about her challenges is extremely helpful, reassuring and much appreciated. She’s a wonderful actress and role model. God bless her!
Teri is one of my favorite actresses. Little did I know, myself would be struck with MS. She is warrior, along with many of us who battle this unforgiving disease.
I first took note of Teri when she was doing MJB Coffee commercials, and have liked her ever since. My youngest sister had MS and died at the young age of 56. I am encouraged to hear that Teri soldiers on.
Mr. Mom is my favorite I remember this film my mom brout it home we watched it on vcr many times i was born in April 1974 so i know a lot of her work 😊
I haven't seen Teri Garr on T.V. in years. Its hard for someone to admit and accept that they have this terrible disease. Thank the good lord she sought medical help when she did. Prayers to a wonderful lady. 🙏
Such a great actress. Loved her in Tootsie!! She's a fighter and a wonderful spokes person for MS. A beautiful soul inside and out. 🙏❤️🙏 Thank you Tim and Happy New Year!!🎊
Terri Garr had so many parts that weren't necessarily stand out characters, anybody could have played them, housewives, friends, buddies, supporting roles, but she and she alone made them memorable. She was always funny. She could make a normal line sound funny. "Honey, do you want me to pack you a lunch...no? Well, what do you want for breakfast...? And, with her delivery, it would be funny! She was a natural comedienne a depth of talent and a very sexy, sexy woman. - LOLOLOL 😂🤣😁
Add me to the list of Teri Garr Hollywood crushes. Same with Christina Applegate. Since they both have MS now I wonder if they're working together. Best wishes to both of them.
You forgot to mention her appearance in the original TV STAR TREK EPISODE! I knew about her diagnosis of MS and was deeply saddened. A marvelous actor loved ❤ every thing she appeared in. My thoughts & 🙏 are with you much love ❣️ & respect Ms. Garr 😘 🇺🇸
Always loved you and all your movies, especially Young Frankenstein. So funny, so beautiful and so talented. Enjoyed you on all your appearances on David Letterman. I believe he had the biggest crush on you 😂❤❤❤
Yes I knew about her MS and the brain aneurysm. She was a really great actress and my favorite movies were Close Encounters and Mr Mom with Michael Keaton… I know a lot about MS because my 2nd wife has it but things got so very bad for her she had a mental breakdown and left me over 10 years ago 😢 she is not the same person… I was heartbroken 💔 for at least 4 years after she went to live with her dad in Tennessee…
Whe n you mentioned her name it brought a smile to my face. Have not heard of her in a long time but loved her acting. Did not know about her medical challenges, thanks.
@@FactsVerse Hello, thank you for your response to my comment. Even though it is extremely sad about Terri, I think it is important to remember these celebrities who are now suffering with these challenges. Also, to celebrate those celebrities who mentor youth or who donate their time or money to worthwhile causes. Thank you from Regina, Saskatchewan, Canada 🇨🇦. This is the capital of our province Saskatchewan. Regina ( yes it rhymes with vagina) is the Latin Word for Queen. Hence the Queen City, named by Queen Victoria when the province was established in 1905. Regina is the training headquarters for the Royal Canadian Mounted Police (RCMP). Our National Police Force.
I know what it’s like to live with MS! I have it and had for years. I was Diagnosed with cancer about four years ago and I was strong enough to help me so I kept working kept doing my thing but over the pass code, so yeah I’ve been feeling rather bad and I’m going to keep my damn mouth about all we can do and hope that’s the main thing and prayer.😊
I had a terrible crush on her when I was a kid. There was always something very unique about her. I never knew that she suffered from multiple sclerosis. Unfortunately, I can relate. My father suffered from MS for many years towards the end of his life. Obviously, there's nothing easy about it.
You forgot about the original Star Trek Series episode where the Enterprise goes back to Earth's past, the 60's, and a visitor from Earth a human from the past was trained by Aliens on their Planet in the future to keep Earth from destroying itself with Nuclear Weapons in Space.
You forgot the Sonny and Cher Comedy Hour, Cher Sonny and Cher show Faerie Tale Theatre’s episode The Tale Of The Frog Prince Faerie Tale Theatre’s Greatest moments aka Grimm Party Adventures In Wonderland as the white queen Ghost world Dumb and Dumber Ready To Wear aka Pret-Porter
Mr. Mom was probably my favorite comedy with her, but I loved her in a very serious movie that she starred in as a Mom who's son finds out that his Mom and her live in boyfriend are on drugs and the boyfriend is selling it and the son finds his stash and hides it! It's a great movie and I think, not sure, but I think the name is First Born!
loved her in "Assignment: Earth" the twenty-sixth and final episode of the second season of the American science fiction television series Star Trek. Written by Art Wallace and directed by Marc Daniels, it was first broadcast on 29 March 1968. Actually, I loved her in everything she did! Robert Lansing wasn't bad either, too bad the spinoff didn't workout.
I knew she has MS, but I didn't know about her aneurysm. I had been wondering about her recently. I remember her mostly from Mr. Mom, Tootsie, and the episodes on Friends. She seems to keep a smile on her face throughout it all. Bless her.🩷
Happy new year Mr Blane & the exceptionally fantastic videos you always submit. Keep it going as informative as they are on varieties of intresting people in the world of show business that there is nothing like it. Bless your heart Sir & thanks again for your great work as always.
