Yay, my efforts of getting the 811 more popular has not been in vain! I hope I helped a bit with your descripition of how it handles in the last video's comments. Also, I don't know if you already said anything about it in your drift tune video, might have to go check, but the cosmetic mods actually affect the car, according to Broughy1322's website. It changes the Center of Mass of the car, so putting something like Neon lights or bumpers changes its CoM toward the front or rear, but the neons does it more dramatically than the bumpers for ex. Edit: you did go over it, but not in precise detail. Neons, as I said, give a more drastic change to the already little change that something like bumpers does. Ex. Sides adds more stability and lowers body-roll, same as the suspension, so if you want to lower the body-roll but not lower the car, side neons are the way to go. Perfect for what you were saying about muscle cars or front and/or rear can help with oversteer/understeer on cars like the banshee, 811, or sentinel classic(refering to racing here, I ended up doing extensive testing for this car, it is terrible to race with)
Thanks for the suggestion of the 811 man! I had attempted drifting a while back but wasn't really planning to ever feature it in a video because of how weird it was (that and the fact that it is pretty temperamental when it comes to drifting), but your comment and a few others I'd seen about it gave me the push to feature it in a video! But as for the exterior mods I didn't want to spend a crazy amount of time on it, given that I didn't notice much of a difference at all in most of the cars I tested.
holy cow you're a good gta drifter , glad someone finally shows off drift cars that aren't rapid gts . fun fact , some cars can drift only in rain ( at least for last gen ) like the dominator and the masaccro , keep up the good work!
The Mamba was featured in my first video, and I'm personally not a huge fan of the Massacro. At least the last time I drifted it, it felt super grippy and snappy, more so than the Pariah even. I'll give it another shot soon.
Now, how about adding the elegy retro to the list.(don't hate me, let me explain) the elegy retro has always been known as that car that drifters thinks it can't drift cuz it has too much traction and nothing to work with. BUT, there is a speed glitch where you stance it AND kick the rear fenders 8 times. Its kinda like the 811 in the sense that kicking it makes the rear slip out more, and also gets more power due to the suspension glitching and clipping, thanking the kicking for that. Its hard, if not impossible, to do the mid drive speed boost as well, but again, you are fine with tapping the handbrake. Maybe give it a try?
I may give it a shot, I have some other cars I'd like to feature before that one though. While I did use the handbrake-tapping method in the 811, I didn't have to kick the crap out of the fenders to drift it lol. I have tried kicking the fenders on the Elegy Retro in an attempt to drift it, but at least based on my experience, it's way too inconsistent and hard to control.
@@StevieWunderKid as said in a previous comment, I have some mods added to it to make it more consistent and not as bad, the front neon lights, stock front and back bumper, some interior mods but those actually are cosmetic only, endo v2 rims(tuner) and no spoiler. A weird thing about it is if you slam the handbrake while at around 45 degree of angle and full countersteer while handbraking, it'll act like it will slide outward, giving corrections for position such as clipping points. Odd indeed. Once you learn the car, it is quite fun, but then again, that is with practically every single thing ever to exist.
I mentioned the Super Diamond in my first video, and I had no idea the Novak could drift. I guess I overlooked it because it's AWD but I'll give it a shot!
Is double clutching/clutch kicking/mid drive speed boost/etc the fastest that you can drift in gta 5? I noticed you can't do it when going full throttle and when you handbrake at that speed you just sort of power slide into a spin out. Do you have to slow down a considerable amount before approaching a corner if you are going top speed or are there other ways?
The mid-drive speed boost method is the fastest you can drift, yeah, because the boost is only really effective for drifting in 2nd gear - the speed you're able to get up to all depends on the car though. For example, a really powerful and high-revving car like the Banshee 900R can drift ridiculously fast even in 2nd gear, but a car like the Roosevelt can only drift in 2nd gear at half the speed; it's all down to gearing and power output. And for most cars you do have to slow down a considerable amount for the entry to kick the car back down into 2nd gear, too.
@StevieWunderKid what are some good spots to practice drifting I Have a hard time being able to try to drift when im dealing with NPCs in the city or up just can't find a spot that is good
There’s a spot by a garage across from the los santos customs by lesters factory. It’s a small little spot good for practicing entries and transitions. Plus it’s under the bridge so npc’s don’t go there

Bah! just mod the game like everyone else dammit 😂 and I can tall that with the thumbnail you were doing a burnout and just turned the wheels lol 😂, great video though lol.
WARNING!!!! guys if you stance the comet sr and comet retro cumtom it drifts like crazy and if you hit the back fenders 5-10 times each you can reach 200mph sometimes more no joke !! it stances the car even more
That's mainly used for straight-line speed, and absolutely destroys the car's ability to corner. Especially on a car like the Comet Retro Custom that has a very short wheelbase and is already fairly tricky to countersteer with when drifting, it's much better to not kick the fenders so you can control it a bit better. Kicking the fenders can help on some really underpowered cars, but really its a tradeoff between slidiness and steering response.
@@StevieWunderKid if you’re good enough you can master the retro with kicked fenders, i can do some really good high speed drift in touge roads but yeah it’s really hard

When your on pc with mods u don't have to do this just mod the stretch limo in manyoo and stance it via stance gitch

Step 4: drive to the ramp that goes in the river
Step 5: slowly drive into the water but not completely
