ALMOST to my Final Leg

Welcome back. It's been a couple weeks, because it's been a couple of week since I was at prosthetics. I am SO CLOSE to having my final leg completed. It is a long process as you can tell but it is so important to just stay patient and trust the process.
This week, I went in to talk about how my check socket fit for the last couple of weeks and how to make adjustments for the final leg. I think they did a great job and I am hoping this leg works out in the long run.
Next video I should have the completed leg! Hope you guys are learning things :)
Ugh, I showed up for an appointment once and was scolded for scheduling an appointment at the time my doctor was leaving for the airport for a conference. 🤦 Also that they apparently had called me multiple times to inform me of this, which my zero missed calls from them disagreed with. They rudely rescheduled me for 4 months later (after waiting 4 months). I actually ran into my doc in the elevator and she told me to call back the next day and get an appointment for the following week. I did and was laughed at stating she'd said no such thing. So I sent a message to her through the portal and got a *very nice* phonecall asking me what days the following week I was free. Because apparently calling one of the senior docs a liar doesn't go over well. I got my appointment.
I got to try three tracking today and oh man much respect for the strength it takes! I landed on my butt a lot 😂. I also didn’t realize how difficult it would be to figure out how to put weight through the outriggers! I think I might try the stabilizer skiing ⛷️ called four tracking next time I go! But the sit ski was awesome and I LOVED being on the slopes again!!! Oh man it was incredible!!!
That happened to me for my very first prosthetics appointment a couple weeks ago! I showed up to the office and they said "sorry, that doctor is on leave, we were supposed to call and tell you. Oops!"
But that motivated me to seek out help from the VA instead of my normal insurance. And it's going to be so much better. My new first appointment is Wednesday and I'm so excited and nervous.
The Bionic Marine makes best use of whatever gear she gets. If those freckles are on payroll, you should give them a raise.
Great that you are getting finally your new leg.
Question here, how much time you can use (comfortable) any socket?

Hi Annika, i'm from Brazil, I am also a left leg amputee, transtibial, I saw your test with the new fitting...
and I would like to visit your country, and I intend to buy a prosthesis. How much did your prosthetic cost? The foot you use, one of them is from Ossur, right? How much does it cost there? Where is the Clinic, what is its name?
I bought you loveded vacum style now I see you wearing pin all the time is it better for you or you just use both?
Do you use crutches?
