    Hey It all made sense until you put the decapitator on straight on the reverb with a high cut and 100% wet. That will kill your chances of a boost in the high 20k shimmer, right? Sry to be a bummer or am I wrong?

    I tried the compressor trick and it does kind of help, but I just used the regular pro c2 fabfilter on the default setting, I didnt adjust the settings since I am making a template, but I find that default settings or just any clean compressor settings achieves what you said, the small additions of these little things helped my vocal chain! Thanks!

    Do you always use the synced time settings when using a SC on vocals?

    so lets say I want to have the reverb to be really wet, but not TOO wet but i cant find the sweet spot, it's either too wet or dry as heck...

      Are you using the reverb as an insert or a send on an AUX channel? If you're using it as a send, you should be able to have a better balance by blending in the send level because the dry signal stays fully in tact & you're just blending in the reverb underneath.

      @@realisticproductionsLLC im using a return track with just reverb on 100% which makes it add reverb to the dry track but the Wetness isnt adding to the reverb? Idk it feels too dry but too wet when i have it on as an effect on the vocal track.

    Why 7500 divided by bmp and afterward divided by 2 is equal to 64th notes? Isn't it 8th notes?

    • @realisticproductionsLLC
      @realisticproductionsLLC 3 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      I mentioned it in the video but 7,500 is 1/4 of 60,000. There’s 60,000 milliseconds in one minute. 7,500 is just a faster way to get to a shorter note value instead of dividing a bunch of times.
      No, dividing would make it a 64th note. Multiplying would make it an 8th note. You have to remember that fewer milliseconds will result in faster note values. Hence dividing will give you a faster note value & multiplying will give you a longer note value.

      Also, here is a full explanation of that formula if you need even more of an understanding.

      Got it; dividing of 60000 by current bpm will result in quarter note & dividing of 7500 by current bpm will result in sixteen notes;hence that's why when we use 7500 for caculation- dividing by 2 will get 64th note and if multiply, we will get 8th note.
      Really thanks that huge for me. U gave me alot.

    i have a little question if you someone can answer in the fabfilter reverb the eq on it is supposed to be a post eq ?

    • @realisticproductionsLLC
      @realisticproductionsLLC 4 ปีที่แล้ว

      Yes it is. It actually says Post EQ on the interface of the plugin. Another cool thing is the blue bands above the yellow post EQ bands, is a “decay rate EQ” so you can increase or decrease the decay rate of different frequencies.
