I bought a green one for my Grandmother. She uses it to purée her meals if needed. I use it for making cashew butter, mincing garlic, onions, etc. I love it! Works great!
Your tomato problem happened because you didn't remove the seeds - they make the purée and the chopped slices too watery. Easily removing them with your fingers makes for much better tomato anything! :)
I have one! This is a terrific little chopper. Small and light, it gets the job done nicely, with no fuss and it's easy to clean. I keep it on my kitchen counter at all times...Ex: I will chop 5-6 garlic cloves together with 1/2 an onion and pop this right into my pan to sauté as a base for an omelette...or even to spread over my salad...chop peppers as well for omelette...and Voilà!
Unless you have a dishwasher, it's impossible to clean. The top has a double layer of clear plastic where food gets trapped. The two layers do not come apart. This is all over the Amazon reviews. I sent mine back and got the newer model that has only one on-off button on the handle and the two speeds on the outside of the motor body. It's easy to clean. It also comes with a blade for making whipped cream and other things. I think the model reviewed here is discontinued.
Hi, I see you have reviewed many small food processors. I would love a recommendation. I'm traveling in my small homemade camper with solar power and we have an inverter. I'm looking to buy one blending item. I love cooking, and I love everything from smoothies, fine sauces to salsas and homemade fruit and nut bars. In your opinion which of the very small blenders or food processors would you recommend for both well blended, and chopped foods? Smaller the better? Thank you, Amie
Hi Amie, this KitchenAid would work for most of your needs. The Cuisinart 3 cup food processor is a little smaller so it might not be enough for your smoothies. Here is the link to my review: th-cam.com/video/jKfyTdeOXG8/w-d-xo.html Small food processors will blend, it's just about how much they will hold, the liquid may leak if you put too much in. The Ninja Master Prep is more powerful but larger - a good size for smoothies and anything else. Here is the link to my review: th-cam.com/video/zlKUSQuXYRU/w-d-xo.html Hope that helps! Please subscribe if you haven't already :)
Hi, you're welcome! Both choppers work well. The KitchenAid is larger so you can process a larger quantity. It's also more expensive due to the size. It really depends on your needs. Hope that helps. Please subscribe if you haven't already :)
How come it doesn’t have a max fill line like other units? What does it mean? If it did then means don’t put dry ingredients above that line? Thanks I’m new to food processors
Can anyone please tell me if this machine would be good to chop/blend almonds to meal, you know so I can make Marzipan from scracth...? I'm just about to buy this one, so I would really to hear if any in here can recommend this exact kitchen tool for chopping almonds to a finde mealy consistens, plase anyone...?
I am confused between KitchenAid and ninja chopper ? I use it for cutting the onion and make garlic ginger paste mostly. can you recommend? I have a small kitchen n I cook for 4 to 5 people max.
Hi Masha, this KitchenAid holds a larger amount than the Ninja. Both work well, but since you have to cook for at least 4 people, I would get the larger KitchenAid. Hope that helps. Please subscribe if you haven't already :)
Why do you unplug the cable each time? There is a security function, that wont let the blades to run, when lid is not on. Don't waste time to pull out and plug in the cable... :)
love the kitchen aid chopper just ordered one in my favorite color green, just curious can it chop up little square block of cheeses like cheddar ect...
I have the newer one I just got. Buy the old 9ne seen here. The new one never locks in at the base and the lid is really cumbersome to secure as well. I have cussed it several times. It does however chop very well. It's just not user friendly.
This product is not very serviceable because the lid itself does not come apart for cleaning so after a time of use there is a conglomeration of old food under the lid - not at all healthy. Though it works well the plastic is cheap and nasty and falls apart too soon frustratingly. This product is NOT a touch on their fabulous blender which we love!
bestkitchenreviews Just imagine how ridiculous the situation is: the local manager said this stuff isn't meant to make a puree, just for stewed fruits and vegetables. I ordered one and received with not opening cup( will send it back
+Martin German Hi, if you mean mincing raw chicken, you could try with small cubes. I would suggest getting a larger food processor for meat, will save you time 😀
I bought above Chopper from Canada n came to India Iattached adapter It is not workung .what to do now.I used it in mmu daughters house but now I am helpless.
Hi Ada, you can cut up the block into small cubes and process it. I wouldn't fill the container more than half full - you'll get a better result that way. Hope that helps :)
Hi, yes it can chop potatoes - cut them into small pieces first - about an inch, then pulse to chop finely. You won't be able to chop very big pieces of potato. Hope that helps. Please subscribe if you haven't already :)
Hi Dave, you could but you'd have to cut up the raw meat into small pieces and it might not be worth it. It's better to chop meat in a larger, more powerful food processor :)
Hi, this unit is not really intended for smoothies but you can try. Instead of using ice, I would suggest using frozen fruit. Don't overfill the machine as it may leak. Hope that helps! Please subscribe if you haven't already :)

I love you... Uh your...your reviews!
thanks for review; I checked 2 others before and they never really showed how to line up the lid and bowl to start. Good Review.
Thanks Joy, glad the review was helpful :)

I really like your videos, but why have you not demonstrated any potatoes, yams? I would like to see the puree potatoes, butternut squash, yuca?
Thanks you very much!
Which one is better at chopping/grinding nuts? This model or Cuisinart mini chopper in your other video?
I need this in my life, it takes me a lot of time to chop vegetables!!!

Hi Jon bolly

Great review + bestkitchenreviews. Can you do a review on the Turbo Scrubber sometime also please ?
I'll add it to my list :)
How come it doesn’t have a max fill line like other units? What does it mean? If it did then means don’t put dry ingredients above that line? Thanks I’m new to food processors
Actually, it seems ideal for coffee beans. Perhaps pulsing the beans may be advisable if you don't have another cooking instrument.
if you squeeze the juice out of the tomato pieces first, it won't be so "soupy" and tend to puree.
Hi I have a question! Can you make cinnamon powder from cinnamon sticks, with this one ?
Lovely.
Is food processor and food chopper the same?
if you had chopped the walnuts for longer would it have got the walnuts even smaller?
+electrosec Yes, the longer you process, the finer the result :)
*GET TO THE CHOPPAAAA*
Hahahaha very underrated comment.
Picture is one thing... video give me an idea of size and use.
BUYING!!!
Wonderful!😀
Would the 5-cup be a better choice that the 3.5?
It’s excellent, I buy today Thku
Enjoy 😉

JunkiesTube I've seen this make nut butter. Go for it! mine will be here this week and I'm after hummus 😋
@@dacutestdimples does it work well for making hummus ?
@@herwig666 100% I just made some like two weeks ago 😊 It's big enough to hold 1 can worth of garbanzos plus your extra ingredients.
I bought one and it is not working after a month, kitchen aid replaced it, but the bowl can not be removed, to avoid , i think
Good for pesto or mixing Rao’s marinara when you are in a pinch
I got this a couple of months ago. However the chopping blades are stucked and can’t take them off. Any advice?
whats the use of the chopper if you actually have to do some chopping?
Exactly, if Im paying the dollar for automatic applianace, I am throwing a full onion into it! Ain't slicing, chopping anything...
I would get this just for the blade...thank you for sharing...

will it make almond butter....?
important question with no answer
I bet it will if you process thoroughly plus add a bit of almond oil as well.
Thank you for the rewiew! So much helped me. Unfortunately in Ukraine and Russia we have only ''made in Chine''Kitcehaid
+Lois Lois Glad the review was helpful :)

Nice review.

Can I use this chopper to grind small amount of meat ?
Does it run on it's own without holding down or pulsating the button???
Hi! Can i use chicken with this chopper?
+Martin German Hi, if you mean mincing raw chicken, you could try with small cubes. I would suggest getting a larger food processor for meat, will save you time 😀
Does it work on bell peppers?
Does this work similarly to a food processor?
Hi, yes - it's a smaller version.
+bestkitchenreviews Thank you so much
+jmmw thank you for "grate" comment.
I need help to assemble the lid of the CHOPPER KFC3511ER. Do you have some information
Help!!! the blade of my chopper is stuck. Would you know how can it be removed? Thanks!
Maisy Koh same problem here! We’re you be able to fix it?
I'm on the fence between this one and the mini prep (Cuisinart). Which one should I buy?
Same here. Either this or mini food prep pro from cuisinart :(
Thank you for a very good, thorough review of this product. I have a Ninja that works about the same way. Hope to see more from you! :)
+Roxie 52 Hi, thanks - glad you liked the review :)
Can you use it to chop potatoes?
I bought mine but it didn't do anything. I am not sure what I did wrong?
nice videos and i like it
Thanks, Candy :)
What works best for celery?

I bought above Chopper from Canada n came to India Iattached adapter It is not workung .what to do now.I used it in mmu daughters house but now I am helpless.
I think you could make a pie crust in this? Re flour and butter.
Hi, it's best to use a larger food processor for pie crust 😀
This is a fantastic product, I make beautiful Hollandaise sauce so easy...
Thanks for sharing 👍
You're awesome!
Thanks, Robert :)
Can it chop meat?
Did you have to add water to puree the tomato?
Hi Sunita, you don't have to add water 😀
So you still have to cut it up? Defeats the purpose doesn’t it? FYI I finally got one . Lol
😆, same with any food processor.
can it chop up block of cheeses?
Hi Ada, you can cut up the block into small cubes and process it. I wouldn't fill the container more than half full - you'll get a better result that way. Hope that helps :)
how did it do...i have been looking for something... but from people reviws i dont buy it coz they all say the product is not worth buying
Can I chop ice cubes in it?
No, it’s best to use a blender for ice 😀
but your already doing some work if you have to cut everything in the first place.
I need one
How do you clean up the lid?
Wash it in warm soapy water or on the top rack of your dishwasher :)
Can you mix pie dough?
It’s a little small for pie dough. A larger food processor would work 😀
What is the cost
Hi, there is a newer model available: amzn.to/3t26iBH
What is the price ?
Would this processor work good on frozen bananas?
Tabbie cat no frozen 😶 I try frozen tomato is stop
Will this make Nut Milk
Can I use liquid on it?
Hi, it's really meant for solid foods. You can use a little bit of liquid to blend solids.
bestkitchenreviews ok thank you
Estava atrás desse vídeo....
It's a disaster taking the chopped garlic and onion out of the chopping bowl
Use the flat edge of a small spatula.

It´s possible to chop meat?
Hi Dave, you could but you'd have to cut up the raw meat into small pieces and it might not be worth it. It's better to chop meat in a larger, more powerful food processor :)
I saw a Chinese similar food chopped meat very fine. But maybe she is right you need to cut into small pieces first which I think it is not bad.
It chops but.... Will it blend? xD
It will puree, well. I'm not sure motor will handle big ice cubes
ninja chopper is better then this one
Can I wiped the cream in it?😝
