I have a lot of teleprompter videos, mostly while outside which is very challenging to see the screen, the closer the better, and we are old, but nobody has ever criticized us for looking like we are reading. I think the audience appreciates the consiseness of a teleprompter scripted video.. I use smart prompt pro app, really helps keep reading sound normal as it follows our cadence. Larry
So yes, the camera is right behind the teleprompter. It's used So you can read the script while maintaining eye contact with the camera/viewer. Opposed to having the script off to the side or in front of you as you can risk having wandering eyes
