  • Buses trains and trams filmed around The West Midlands conurbation during May 2016. This also includes testing of the Midland Metro extension from Bull Street to New Street for driver familiarisation. locations include Birmingham City Centre, Solihull for a run out on a Chiltern Mainline Class 68, Bristol Road for a selection of ALX400 bodied Dennis Tridents which are very regular on the 61 and 63 routes to Frankley, Selly Oak and Bourneville, Hampton in Arden, Walsall and Wolverhampton.

And finally onto Wolverhampton, by far the most boring station to go bus spotting in the West Midlands. Rows and rows of carbon copy ALX400 double deckers one after the bloody other. Wolverhampton was always the final dumping ground for older vehicles that would serve their final months before they went on to that big expansed bus graveyard at PVS Barnsley!

Andrew Mannwitt I really feel sad when I miss a bus that goes into the distance. I love watching the buses go past but I still love watching them 😀 and It’s just an obsession
