Did any of you watch the video? Lmao it’s a genetic condition that causes her hair to grow in a very rare shape. This isn’t a competition about who has harder-to-maintain hair. If anything, her hair probably doesn’t have a very good quality cuticle from the looks of it, so no matter how much conditioner you keep saying you’d apply to it there’s no repairing what isn’t there/isn’t formed properly.

@TheReisecup89 shut the fuck up, honestly stop spreading hate and misinformation like this. I’ve been seeing you a lot in this comment section and didn’t want to clap back in a hard way and only responded till now with the facts with a clear mouth. But then I see that you go and discredit her parents for something there is no actual cure for or a way to maintain it the same as there is to black hair. This is literally common sense, you just want to have something to be mad about. Shame on you i hope you reflect more on what you say and do your research before commenting. Here is the wiki page to this CONDITION because you’re clearly too lazy to search it up yourself: en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Uncombable_hair_syndrome

@TheReisecup89 and not to mention, her hair dosent have a curl or cold pattern as we see in babies with black-African DNA. The shape of the follicle gives it a pattern that’s not seen in any other type of race as it’s a mutation. How hard is it to wrap your head around? Not everything is about race

Why don’t they let some one with 4c hair do it and if it successful teach the mom

      @annansubuga8307 5 ปีที่แล้ว +14

It's not 4c, 4c hair is just a tight curl this has no curl the strand it buckled, however I'd love to see how it reacts to richer hair products ngl

Read the word Everyday the condition that is also called spun glass hair is different from black hair. Black hair is Oblique shaped while spun glass hair is heart or triangle shaped. The community prefers the use of the name spun glass hair contrary to uncombable. It is combable but its very hard to in most cases, but there are cases where combing is imbossible.

My hair strands are also crinkly but my hair can be straightened... I have to have it thoroughly blown out and then flat iron (little pieces at a time).
Poor baby... I cry often when my hair gets matted over one nights sleep because I can't brush it out with ease. My scalp is not sensitive at all though... But apparently I was terrified of having my hair brushed as a kid.

Also old fashioned rollers or curlers work well but make sure hair is completely dry before you take them out. But wait till she's older cuz rollers are torture to a little kid.

I can tell you that I started with this uncombable hair syndrome problem ...in later life, in fact it was very recent I noticed my hair looking very like a stiff brush or hedgehog . My friends saw the funny side, but I could not ! This happened directly after I had walked beneath the enormous 5G mast. . here in Brislington. Combing my hair since this was unti recently -- nightmarish,
BUT I may have discovered something here ! You know of course , that everything grows in a CLOCKWISE direction ? . I had the idea of massaging
my scalp in an ANTI---clockwise direction ! I did this initially by simply
twirling my hair in my fingers ANTI---CLOCKWISE, in the problem area on my forehead, for a few minutes, twice a day and massaging my scalp in THE SAME WAY .After a week of doing this daily, I saw a very definite improvement and soon the reversal of the syndrome . My idea has apparently done the trick. ! My hedgehog hair is back to normal smoothness. It's worth a try !

Hi! I have this condition and it usually can be outgrown during puberty, but I am 15 years old and have not fully grown out of it. Some people never grow out of it, and although my hair has become super curly and calmed down a bit, it still is not even close to “normal”. I have seen some people who have outgrow it by the time they are 12 and some who have never outgrown it and are in their 40s.

Mmmm 1: slight albino 2: when she was born she looked mixed so she could be passing 3: just bad luck
All in all, some 4c hair folk wish they could work with what she got. A good deep conditioning, moisturizer & foams to style? I don't know whether heat is a good idea. Definitely no gel coz it will clump together. Cornrows will be cute. Just throwing out ideas for you

That girl will start hating herself for having such hair. It's not a disease. 🙁🙁
If you adults want to talk about her hair, I think would have been wise to Do it in her absence.
Adults never know that negative comments about a child can affect her esteem. I grew up hating my height and some parts of my body because of people's comments.
She is still beautiful even with that kind of hair.

It doesn’t grow very fast and even just brushing it makes it fall out and can lead to bald spots. Loose braids is something my mom tried a lot growing up, but it only lasted so long.
