I am a big fan of SHAIKH Atif and a regular listener of his speeches he is such an inspirational specially to youngsters and unique in his style of talk and very different than others. May Allah accept all this from him n protect him. A suggestion may be I am wrong but I do smell a bit of NATIONALISM at times in his speeches which does not suit a Shiekh or a scholar at his khutbas or speeches.NATIONALISM IS A CONCEPT ALIEN TO ISLAM BECAUSE NATIONALISM CALLS FOR UNITY BASED ON FAMILY AND TRIBALISTIC TIES, WHEREAS ISLAM BINDS PEOPLE TOGETHER ON THE `AQEEDAH, THAT IS BELIEF IN ALLAH (SWT) AND HIS MESSENGER (SAAW). ISLAM CALLS FOR THE IDEOLOGICAL BOND.GROUPING THE MUSLIMS ON TRIBALISTIC LINES IS CLEARLY FORBIDDEN. THE MESSENGER OF ALLAH (SAAW) SAID, "UNDOUBTEDLY ALLAH HAS REMOVED FROM YOU THE PRIDE OF ARROGANCE OF THE AGE OF JAHILLIYAH (IGNORANCE) AND THE GLORIFICATION OF ANCESTORS. NOW PEOPLE ARE OF TWO KINDS. EITHER BELIEVERS WHO ARE AWARE OR TRANSGRESSORS WHO DO WRONG. YOU ARE ALL THE CHILDREN OF ADAM AND ADAM WAS MADE OF CLAY. PEOPLE SHOULD GIVE UP THEIR PRIDE IN NATIONS BECAUSE THAT IS A COAL FROM THE COALS OF HELL-FIRE. IF THEY DO NOT GIVE THIS UP ALLAH (SWT) WILL CONSIDER THEM LOWER THAN THE LOWLY WORM WHICH PUSHES ITSELF THROUGH KHARA (DUNG)." [ABU DAWUD AND TIRMIDHI] In this talk he said being pakistani first and than muslim and then human being. I think we as a muslim should have no boundries and nationslism we are one ummah. WASALAM
Although in this lecture he talk about the nationalisam but he also said that a genious person ca be from any other race or nation he not talk typicaly about pakistani's he also talk about rational behaviour of a man towards others .

That’s why muslims fought battles against the Romans, the Persians and so forth and that’s how we recovered most of our land from them so that we could call it ours in the Middle East and parts of South & East Asia. Assalam Alaikum Sir According to you, your perception, What should be our perception about Universe? What perception would help us in our journey? We can't just say "this universe is in my favour.
