ok, so i saw this review the day it came out, immediately wanted the game, so i got the night i got paid. i cannot give enough praise to this game. it is a janky mess but it is the best janky mess ive ever played. the speedrun for this game is gonna be sick. i love the art, music, and casual challenge that is still very rewarding. it reminds me heavily of metroid prime, and also other colorful space games. nothing at all wrong with it, 10/10. great review btw
I guess this is a good place to ask this. What are some good games that are easy to play a little at a time? I come home in the evenings with usually only an hour to play/relax. Nothing too difficult, like Binding of Isaac or Gungeon. Thanks.

I got some of the same vibes, tough this game weighs more on humor- more like breathedge then subnautica; Also subnautica have a heavy reliability on basebuilding and a slower progress through making those bases going deeper. This feel like a more condensed and casual romp, like subnautica snack meets myst-lite(puzzles) in the humorous vibe of breathedge or outer worlds
@@psilopsychic Well the big triple A full price games always sell for $59.99 at release so it's always nice to see a good quality game sell for $29.99 and alot of times those are exactly the games that have the most love and passion put into them. Hollow Knight for example and Salt & Sanctuary are just tremendous games although 2d genre they offer more than most triple A games out there for half the price at release. Yeah $29.99 is very cheap for sure and if we just wait a couple months it will most likely be on sale for $15-20 because most games go on sale after there initial sales start to trail downwards to boost there sales again.
Let an old man tell you a story of the olden days: little over a decade ago, when the escapist had alteast 4-7 series that where worth watching, they had a couple of staff make 3 min reviews. I forgotten there names but there where these two dudes with buttery chill voices narrate chill, fun indi games. That was my asmr before i heard the term.
Buyer beware this game is pretty, its unique and its alot of fun, however.. the combat is HORRIBLE, like so bad It's like nobody play tested the battles before release. Fighting is tedious, inaccurate and frustrating. Good game but the gunplay is downright Awful, AWFUL.

I can recommend Crypt of the Necrodancer, The Textorcist, Cuphead, Furi
They can be a bit hard tho, but you can easily play 30 minutes at the time
