The first half of the th-cam.com/users/postUgkx3ICSK6nSknaL_45CU2NmFSoXjarGMDiJ book is everything about wood: types, tools, finishes, setting up shop etc. The second half is all about doing projects for inside and outside of the home. The color pictures are helpful. After reading a dozen of these types of books, this is probably the best overall (layout, color photos, plans). Only detraction is that many of the projects use a table saw/router/planer, which are usually expensive and take up space, so the plans are less friendly to newcomers and the budget conscious. But I know I can use a drill, circular saw or a jigsaw to make the projects.
At the 12:30 mark you had me very concerned. A simple jig could save you putting your fingers so close to the blade. Just because you have gotten away with unsafe practices in the past, does not mean you will in the future. Love your work but would love for you to adopt safer practices to ensure your health and well being.
Excelente mano de obra una verdadera obra de arte, entre al video porque tengo que hacer sillas y nunca hize, vi que eran muy realizadas y que no las iva a poder hacer pero me quede a ver la belleza que estaba haciendo
Running a jointer without guards or pushbars is just stupid. I have a damaged digit to prove it. Doesn't take much, and one of those could easily take your entire hand.
Gotta admit he’s good. But the jointer operation bare handed; “YIKES”. Gotta have respect for that oversized/whirling beast of a tenoning saw. Wish I had that mortiser; sure better than the one I got. The way he surfaced the rough sawn cuts down with that disc sander and that angle grinder. That grinders’ head cut like an rasp or planer. 😎,
The bandsaw blade guard is there for 2purposes .To stop you cutting your hand off and to provide support for the blade but you safety conscious workers of course know that or do you ?
excellent job...i really liked the design...but not a single bolt was used at joiners...just holded by wood glue..a daily use chair definitely needs a bolt and nut system unseen within the blocks for longer life and stability..well safety wasnt upto the mark during the making process...well done ...neat finish.
All those fancy shoes but no safety equipment or shoes (well, some people had some sort of weird sandals). I guess they are used to that & have learned not to hurt themselves. Chairs turned out beautiful though. Wish I could find wood in sizes like that where I live. It's hard to find solid wood these days- mostly it's just plywood or mdf now.
Indeed a very skillful craftsman. Great work!! Temon & mortise joinery at its best. This artisan is not so fortunate -as most of the comentators are- to have a safety kit at his disposal. But he undoubtedly does his best to sort out the perils, during the working process. Congratulations to this chap!
The way they work it's so familiar, it's just like people from my home town, the bold way to use tools, it's just like they have spare finger back home, when they loose one, they can put it back so they can work another day 🤣 but surely they're skilled worker.
Браво 👍👍👍👍👍👍👍.
Отличная работа и настоящая победа.
