Like Optimus the reason I believe they did that is because at the time red didn’t film very well which is why they gave Optimus the blue flames and made sideswipe grey

G1 all the way. The "Robots in Disguise" is probably the worst. Looks like a car you would say "Holy crap, that's a transformer!" If you saw it, hence ruining the "Disguise". The movie one should have been a Lamborghini.
