Did you notice how Harley used those last song lyrics almost as a hypnosis trigger? Arthur's eyes change like he's been reset Winter Soldier style. Maybe he starts off genuinely rehabilitating but she refuses to lose the champion of the cause and pulls him back to his destructive ways
Another addition to the Judy Garland commentary, both Gaga AND Garland were both the female leads in their own versions of "A Star Is Born". I'm sure this isn't a coincidence but intentional by Gaga

I believe Joaquin Phoenix actually came up with the laughing condition. The success of the first movie was definitely a collaborative effort between Phillips and Phoenix
I wasn't getting Sonny/Cher from them on stage, I got George Jones and Tammy Wynette. Cher sort of ridiculed and teased Sonny. Gaga looks like she is soothing and encouraging him, which is very Tammy/George. Even her make up looks like Tammy.
I was thinking... even though it's not the responsibility of the content creators, it might do good to remember the broader audience that, sympathy and feeling of representation by these fictional characters doesn't mean it's a "healthy representation". It sounds obvious, right? And again, I don't think Grace or anyone should feel compelled to 'warn'... but I just see people already on social media justifying the unjustifiable with "Joker was right"

How is the Gaga version more accurate when the suicide squad version literally adapted aspects of Mad Love? Margot started off faithful but then started doing whatever with each movie.

Harley Quinn pigtails looks didn’t come from the movies then they changed her in comics But when DC New 52 comic came out they change the costumes and looks and origins of their major characters including Harley Quinn
so it means we are going to see harvey dent turning into two face at the end because he is going to be at court with arthur and harley and my take is that Harvey is going to kill harley at the end

One of the reasons why I have a strong prejudice against this movie is because of what happened in my country in 2019. It only give us pain and destruction. Until today we are not recovered from what happened on that year. Unfortunately I can't "celebrate" this movie
@@michaellabonte6390 Nah, to me Gotham is 100% Chicago, and Metropolis has the NY architecture and geography. Nolan completely turned it into NY though, and the DCU did it too. And now the new Batman. So, Hollywood turned Gotham into New York. But to me it's Chicago, and Metropolis is NY.

Not only that it's multiple burrows like NY. The art decor architecture and zeppelin docking units om skyscrapers like the empire state. It's NY and even in the animated series that's the state it's in. Comics gotham is in NJ Another thing New York by night used to be called gotham at night. Look it up

Gags is not a natural actor. There are no innate acting abilities. She does as she is told. And she's really good at this. Her musical career especially earlier on she was dressed up, made up, posed, and paraded around for the cameras and paparazzi - and those pictures, there's no life or energy in her eyes - did what she was instructed to do.
I think those flash mob shoplifting is exactly the same thing. It’s showing how bad things are. And the sick joke is when they announce the dollar amount of stolen things compared to the videos of just 2 armfuls of clothes a person…
I’m guessing that most of the songs are not sung fully, maybe just a line or two ala Moulin Rouge. I doubt they could fit 15 full song performances into the movie.
