manufavturing engineering actually contain 3 sub divitions which are QUALITY . MAINTENANCE. PRODUCTION. ENERGY AND HVAC . u can say its generale , the mother of mechanical engineering
Your definition for turning was nice, but the milling definition is way off or misleading when you mention flat surfaces. Why not just say it like in the turning?
A Quality engineer is not a Manufacturing engineer
Manufacture engg contain 3 sub dvision production quality n maintenance

Is the thickness more important than the inside diameter?

Cool video, would love to see more like it

It is quality engineer not engineer manufacturing
Very interesting video! Thank you!!

It wasn't what she said about milling, it is what was on the caption. A mill doesn't just cut flat surfaces.
Actually a human hair is about .002" to .003". Not .005".

Is there any difference between manufacturing engineering and industrial engineering ?
Good
Nice👍
5 thou is huge!
over 72 inches? lol
Nice
All this time throughout the vid she's a quality engineer and not a manufacturing engineer. Those two are different.
just call it 1/100th not 10/1,000
Everyone in indutry uses thousands or down, if you say a X hundreths in a shop people will perceive that as X hundred thousandths.
The devil is in the detail!!!
Lol qc engineers are not really engineers 😂
Yes they are 😆. Most hold degrees in mechanical or electrical engineering.
So a manufacturing engineer can learn to build a car or plane then?
Also, can someone who specializes in Manufacturing Engineering learn to use a CNC, Lathe, Grinder, or Milling Machine?
Yes
