    Jason… you knocked this out of the park. The tabs along with your finger positioning helped demonstrate those few intricacies that takes one from knowing to owning the bass line of this great song! Well played!

    Did you get the Starfire recently? I got one from Sweetwater about 3 months ago. Love it. ❤️

      Yes! They had a blowout deal on these naturals a few months back! So in love with this bass! Super versatile and plays like butter!

      I got the Shoreline Mist one. I put some tapewounds on it. Love it for pick playing. Playing loads of early Joe Jackson on it at the moment. 😊

      @@simonbowkett124yes! This bass really shines with flatwounds or tapes and a pick!

      Were the frets high, that they throw the bass out of tune

    Great tone, what brand of flats are you using?

    • @BasstabsbyJason
      @BasstabsbyJason  4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      That you Brett! These are actually Fender 9050 Stainless Flatwounds. They have a nice pronounced midrange bump that helps cut through the mix!

    Very cool but seeing how this is a shuffle it might be better if you write swung 8ths and triplets instead of the dotted 8th-16th rhythms
