    Espasol for me. This brings my high school recess..In fact, I bought at Greenhills 2 days ago, and if not for watching, I would have forgotten..Imagine seeing something that you may not have remembered for so, so long time ago..your ideas can really help so many, simple as it maybe, yet, the heart feels something so special..

    Yes, otap is from Cebu. When I think of Bacolod, I always think of Ube Piaya from Bongbongs. 😊💖 Love them both 💞

      Not anymore just like when you mention philippines its not Boracay but Siargao and Palawan so is in Bacolod Mango Tart and Napoleones

    Espasol is glutinous rice còoked with brown sugar and shredded coconut meat. Mold elongated shape and covered with cooked powdered glutinous rice. Its yum

    my mother is from Leyte province so you can try the binagol and moron 😋😋 they're one of my favorites..and you can also try pancit malabon and sapin-sapin since I was born in Malabon😁

    Authentic pastillas de leche is made from fresh carabao milk (not powdered milk) and has no condensed milk. It is very smooth and practically melts in your mouth. I wanted to dive into the video and partake. I agree with Lola those are yummy and brings up lots of memories. God bless.

    I think you had ‘espasol’. They are dusted with rice flour. You may have mistaken it as molds.
    Try piaya and napoleones from Bacolod.

      yes that's it! It was definitely mold it was black and furry in spots. Our fault we left it for too long and got the dates mixed up oops!

    was it espasol? the one wrapped in paper? if yes, then it’s not actually mold… it’s supposed to look like that because it’s dusted with rice flour… too bad u didn’t try it because it’s very yummy and one of my favorites… 😋

      yes! we didn't include it in the edit but it was definitely mold! it was black and furry 😅 there was powder too but definitely moldy, our fault though we got the dates mixed up! We'll try that one again in another video :)

    They thought the espasol was moldy, it's tossed in the toasted glutenous rice powder. but it's always better to be cautious esp when trying new food

    My mums family lives in Murcia. 15 yr ago I spent a lot time in Bacolod, utap is originally from Bacolod City. Bacolod City is the only place to get boneless milk fish.

    That's turones de mani, its likes a small barquillos with polvoron and ground peanuts. Maybe the kids will like barquillos a lot, because it is crunchy. Ask your mom.
