I love the new intro. In some way it shows how he’s went from just a camera, to a shop and multiple cars, all while having the same day 1 friends.
Imagine seeing one of these online, wanting to buy one, then meeting the whole Shelby American team in the process of buying with having NO IDEA because it was just advertised by a different dealership.
I understand where he is coming from with seeing them online. TFL and throttlehouse didnt know what the hell they were doing with the shelby's when they raced the TRX. Tfl trying to say they had a tuned supersnake f150 and it got beat by a EcoBoost and trx. So they either detuned it or didnt know what they were doing or had there lips on rams ass. Or all
TFL not knowing what they were doing I could understand. But throttle house I can’t see. Definitely one of the best automotive channels out there.
Yeah the TRX got its ass handed to it when TH raced it. The TRX had launch control and 4x4 for better take off and the Shelby caught and passed it anyway. The only one that had problems was TFL and that’s still unknown as to why.

I seen this truck everywhere on ads but never on video by any of my favorite youtubers. What a dream come true. Gavin really jumped out of the box here. Wonderful idea. Couldn't have made a better 100k purchase. Home run.

That is one of the most down to earth guy I have ever seen. He absolutely loves his job. Most Genuine guy I’ve ever seen. Definitely entertaining to watch. Love the video quality and new intro!

Good thing there's a lightning ev coming out... It's a crew cab tho and like most high powered EVs it'll be tractions limited due to the massive amount of torque that comes near instantly.

@@MeneCenter69 it's a lightning it's not really supposed to two but I think it'll surprise you. Also most commercial work vehicles drive less then 120 miles per day anyway. Plus it'll still have a lot of the functions as the powerboat just a tab limited due to the inability to generate power on sight.
@@dylanandrews7798 The first Lightning was meant to be not only a fast truck, but also a usable truck unlike the Syclone for example. Yes it was fast as hell, but you couldn't really put anything in the bed, much less tow. The Lightning obviously couldn't tow as much as the f150, but it wasn't far off from it. All while being an amazing sports/muscle truck. This is no different, its fast, powerful, it should handle well, which would validate the Lightning badge. Its only downside (from my perspective) is its lack of towing capability. Now, it can tow a good amount of weight. I believe its like 10,000 lbs? But Car and Driver estimate it to only have a 100 mile or less towing range.
I’ve saved up for about 4 years to buy my dad a new truck since when I was younger he gave me his truck (which he loved almost more than me), when I saw the super snake I knew this was the truck I was going to buy him. I’m still super bummed out that I wasn’t able to get him one. Congrats Gavin hopefully I can get one down the line

Gavin should never need to point this out himself. All the good deeds all the giveaways, all the disaster relief he helped fund for the city of Ruston in 2019. All that stuff comes back man.. this truck wasn't just a purchase. He met the whole Shelby team and the trucks designer and also went for a ride in the designers personal truck. Also got a steal on the price. What an awesome deal. I'm happy for Gavin on this.
