Redfalcons video is fake, the checkpoints are edited because every single checkpoint is a key checkpoint in mk8dx, unlike Wii where there were 5 or so key checkpoints around the map and the rest weren’t necessary (I think they are used for respawns and placement)
They take out all the fun potential glider shortcuts >:( It's frustrating, because they give us the ability to fly and then only let you fly where you could drive anyway
i mean this game is made to be a wacky bullshit experience anyways thats kinda the fun of it, to take away creativity like this from the player only harms what the game is trying to be in the first place@@joeda900
@@Vulpercool Yeah sure that is annoying, but I sure don't want another Mario Kart Wii situation where literally courses could be cleared in literal seconds which literally turns an already luck based game into an EVEN more luck based game since it would turn to "A game of who can drive better, using a mix of efficient item usage and luck" to simply "Who can lull a triple mushroom first or other item to take this one shortcut." I'd rather having Lakitu being an annoying POS than anything

As cool as this would be, I feel like a shortcut like this would simply make the normal path straight useless and catching up to other players a chore
