I don't understand how some are not familiar with the great Mavericks and Raul Malo....they are great band ...they have a great sound and good songs, including covers in English/Spanish and good harmony .

Here I am again, perving on the Drummer of the Mavericks. I should know better but he is soooo Handsome 🥰 Excellent music boys. A masterpiece. ( am a widow now but back in the day, hubby would buy me a cd every birthday & he grabbed this album & played it loudly & as I got closer to the music, I couldn't help myself. Started dancing around the garden & scared off the wild king parrots & rainbow lorikeets. Thankyou Mavericks for adding sunshine to our lives 💛).

OMG what a dynamic sound, harmony.....orchestration......execution. These guys can do it all, pay attention to how all the instruments get featured and come together. In my humble opinion these guys deserve all the credit they get, they are without a doubt fantastic.

As do, my husband and my kids, who are now adults, but still love these guys! They have such good memories, of us playing the Mavericks cd, on our first villa holiday, back in 2010! Jeez, those were the days, and we still listen to the Mavericks, on any holiday, even though, we can’t afford the fancy accommodation, anymore! Lol 😂 ! Discovered the Mavericks 3 years ago on a tip from a friend...I could not agree more with the comment "most underrated band in the world"....which is fine with me... I can still get tickets at the small & medium size theaters/bars they play. Heading to LA this week to see them. Nothing like a "drunken" sounding horn section and a bunch of true artists giving it all, every night!!!!

I just discovered this band, and I can't get enough. I drive down the road with the sunroof open, and jamming as loud as I can....this music just makes you want to dance. I could put this song on repeat and listen over and over. I which they would come to Northern Illinois....we would go see them.
The Mavericks are as good today as they were in the 1990's. Raul has that perfect lead vocal that fits with their Tex-Mex Rock-A-Billy sound. If you ever get a chance to hear them live you will find they are as good live as they are in the recording studio. You get an exceptional performance by every member of this band. One of my all time favorite groups of the 90's. Thanks for sharing this!

Saw this fantastic band on February 18 2022 in Des Moines,Iowa at Hoyt Sherman place. The best show and performance and I mean everyone played there hearts out. I would recommend if you ever have the chance see the live in concert.

I feel ashamed of myself for not hearing this band before.
I have to expand a bit: I've been a long standing fan/collector of Ska, Rocksteady, Blue Beat, et al & Texas Swing & Blues & dabbled in Tejano and I love it all and I always wished there was something that slow-cooked it all together. Thank you for serving up a dish I've been waiting for.
