Hulk was flying back and forth to Japan so often that he managed to gain an additional 40 days a year. So it makes sense that he had all this extra time to train Tito how to fight back in the day.
I could be wrong, though. It might have been that Hulk flew to Japan so often that he actually traveled back in time to wrestle in front of Elvis in Memphis. It's just too bad that the Hulkster didn't think to time travel again to get that George Foreman grill phone call that he missed.

I had heard a version of this being that Vader didn’t fight back against Orndorff because he (Vader) was new to WCW at the time and didn’t want to get fired. If that was the case, then that would have been long before Hogan came aboard. Then how could Hogan have witnessed it?
