This is actually a pretty fun game and deserved the reviews it got, but it wound up being a huge flop due to coming out the same week as Ocarina of Time.
I was expecting that fox to eat you...and when he just ran up and started pimp slapping you around that yard with his tail I literally laughed so freaking hard man.😂😂
This game was one of our favourites to rent on N64 back in the day. It was just so wild. It also proved that N64 had some gems that weren’t first party. It’s actually kind of a shame Ben seemed not into it even before playing. But maybe it’s just the odd controller, which i also never minded.
Well, as much as I like TJ shows, I reckon that they almost never seem to like the games they play. Supose Its a drawback from having to play it on schedule oriented for content creation instead of actually taking the time necessary to invest actually learning about a game, its mechanics and therefore be able to enjoy them.
I had this on PS1, think it was called Evos space adventures. Classic case of being sold by the cover when shopping in Dixon's as a kid as the game was shocking
This game was in Mouse on Mars' music video to "Twift" (aka "Twift Shoeblade"). For years I wasn't sure if it's a real game or just some crazy animation made specifically for that video.
Only collecting 100% of the trophies is imposible because of 1 level bug. You can finish it. I did. And collecting 100% of the trophies would unlock a bonus level just for fun. This can still be done with a sequence of buttons tapping at the slot or stage selecting screen. I did it... you unlock a minigame like Asteroids. Nothing special, a bit boring but cool to see
There is a secret level in the game where there are Dogs with wheels for feet that have speakers on their backs. Its attack is the speaker make intense sound waves to destroy enemies Lol. Also the game is made by a well known company we know of...ROCKSTAR,
I love that uk english is the english taught around the world, and then once people learn the language (that arent from the uk) switch to american english. Because if you can understand british english then american english is a breeze 😂
Amazing as always. Is anyone else mildly annoyed by the fact that they say we get Weirdest games a week early on Patreon, when we in fact get it 9 days early? It's the dumbest thing but I think of it every time 🤣
I genuinely like the N64 controller. I know it looks weird and represents an absolute dead-end in design but it's also worth remembering it was the first major console controller with an analogue stick -- the PS1 didn't get one until 97 -- and it was in the extremely early days of 3D games. So Nintendo chose a layout that was good for their flagship 3D game, Mario 64. Which made sense at launch but did rather bite them in the bum as the 90s rolled on and we ended up trying to play Goldeneye and Perfect Dark with the C pad as a kind of proxy right-hand analogue stick. Talking of biting in the bum, given DMA Design were based in Dundee they probably had Aberdeenshire in mind rather than Wales.
Don't judge a game so harshly when you've barely played it. There are 30 levels, you saw 3 and the first level barely counts. And there are over 40 animals and you saw 4.
The similarities with GTA 1 are visible 1. The format and style of displaying missions in form of a boss dialog 2. The main mechanic: taking over vehicles (mecha animals here) 3. If you got farther.. guns and gangs. These guys love that. 4. The final stage and ending credits is almost a demo of the GTA 1 enviroment in N64
This is one of the BEST games ever and sorely deserves a remake or something.
Yes let's make happen kick start it
A favorite as a kid. So good. I remember loving playing as the helicopter bunnies.
This is actually a pretty fun game and deserved the reviews it got, but it wound up being a huge flop due to coming out the same week as Ocarina of Time.
This game is amazing ... the more you play, the more you see the diversity of the environnements. It's really a fantastic game
I was expecting that fox to eat you...and when he just ran up and started pimp slapping you around that yard with his tail I literally laughed so freaking hard man.😂😂
I'm mourning the lack of rumble pak so he didn't get the effect of the bass coming through the in-world speakers

Honestly this games a hidden gem I rented it as a kid and was amazed.
Oh look it’s Mario odyssey
Do sheep dream of electric fences is the real question
Only when there are Runners on Blades around.
Listen...I don't understand the random hate this gets in modern circles for elements of it. It was a massive underrrated gem
Dogs can't look up. Awesome reference to an awesome movie
"Europe again: tiny, light, weak, average, medium, very short" Best accidental self burn I ever heard
I'm sad they didn't like this game. I loved this game as a kid.
I could never beat this game as a kid lmao, also the third role could be "backseat gamer"

Fond memories of the PS1 version. But that's probably because I was also given Hogs of War and Bloody Roar 2 at the same time
Loved this game! Never finished it. Im sure I read that there was a bug that made it unfinishable... although that wasn't the reason I didn't.
You could finish it but there was one collectable clipping through the floor that you can't get so it's impossible to complete.
@@lordoftheabyss44 That sounds familiar.

“Your welcome”… that’s not what you said😂😂
I'd totally forgotten about this - I have the N64 cart somewhere. Feels like it's worth a play sometime soon just for the nostalgia lols.
I remember renting this as a kid. The mechanics and aesthetic became core memories for me but I only found the name of it a couple years back.
Lowkey this game slaps
I loved this game when I was younger, I never owned it but I borrowed it from my friend a few times
Great editing job!
Dark souls has nothin on difficulty compared to sssv
Dudes this game actually looks really fun
I think this is the first time that a game I own was covered in this series.
"Don't wizz on the electric fence!"

Huh.. how you achieve that secret level? I don't remember that
Yes!!! This was one of my favorites as a kid
I really enjoy this series, I wish they made episodes more often.
😄👍
I'm reporting this video for misinformation because I am not a coward.
Unrelated: Can someone call me an electrician? And an ambulance.
The "most British" aspect of the game...
14:12 - Down with this sort of thing
This is mine and my best friends favorite when we were younger. Good times.
I know of this game cuz I watched a playthrough of it a long time ago. I don't remember how I discovered it lol
Absolutely love it 😁
Y'all are so funny. Ashton is a gem. Thank you guys from America
Thank you to them from Canada too.
I love that uk english is the english taught around the world, and then once people learn the language (that arent from the uk) switch to american english. Because if you can understand british english then american english is a breeze 😂
From my memory this game and gex were fun but impossible to beat lol
Is this dog gonna bone this sheep😮
Happy Christmas!
Only time I played this was at the dentist’s office
This game reminds me of Catroots

you guys are one of the very few channels that i wait for an upload from, but the only one that i stop everything im doing to watch. heart you guys
That was a really well put together WGE! Really added to the overall hilarity of it!
Excuse me, I think you misspelt BEST game ever!!
