The only thing I worry about w/ the new heat system is that it feels like it speeds up the gameplay too much. Tekkens always struck me as a slower paced, more methodical fighter compared to others.. Having a new heat meter every round seems like those burst moments happen too frequently?
I think it’s still fine and the pace is slower after you use your heat and heat doesn’t last long. Also I believe tekken 7 is the pinnacle of tekken combat system and they need to make 8 unique or it shouldn’t exist. To me 7 is like chess you can always whip it out and have fun with friends so 8 need to be different and I’m happy to report 8 is super fun
Not with all the new mechanics introduced since S2 Tekken 7. If anything the pace is a little slow in Tekken 8 when your meter is burned with combo damages slightly reduced

Nah matches are still fine I played plenty of matches that timed out
