This was just what I needed to relax at the end of a busy day. I have been getting ready to host Easter dinner tomorrow. I LOVE spring and have small vases of fresh cut daffodils and tulips on my table. I just hung 3 beautiful baskets of pansies in my gardens. You are both so much fun to watch. Everthing remindes me of my past Vintage years as a child. My mother would use the hand mixer, and we would have 'fairy tale books, ' I was so facinated by the images of country cottgae houses, and a pie on the window sill to cool down , seeing on the outside .My mind was so vivid of imagery of fairy tale books, until today , now I am sixty years old, with those images so vivid in my mind . You have dollies and Cut Work, Embroider Anglaise Table cloth. Everything so Vintage and beautiful.
🦇🌹Birdhouses are such a good idea for just about any home. I love it when a cardinal makes an appearance, the vivid red of the male cardinal is really something wonderful. On an overcast day the red is especially radiant. By the way, if anyone hasn't seen the 1993 film version of "The Secret Garden" it's truly magical. Happy Spring Cobweb Cottage !!!

Your video was wonderful! I picked some different kinds of daffodils, some yellow trumpet, some white with orange trumpets, some pale yellow , and some with rose shaped trumpets. I put them in a jar on the table mixed with the ends of flowering plum tree branches! It is one of the prettiest, spring arrangements I have ever made! It is raining here today and just like your quote says they have brought the sunlight inside! Have a blessed Easter! 🩷💐🐣🐇

I am watching the leaves and hopeful blooms on my garden Frangipani. We got it as a cutting from a neighbor who movved on last year we enjoyed the flowering.

I was sniffing my phone hoping for smellovision, but I know it smells lovely when Jonas bakes. 50 years ago I had a room in which I painted every square inch pineapple yellow . It was glorious but even more so when the ancient pink dogwood tree ,outside the big bay window ,came into full bloom in the spring. All gone now. Time to give a new room the same uplifting treatment. Thanks for cheering me up with your heartwarming video. The antidote for world weary cynicism. Thank You❤

Oh this was lovely. Have you ever seen the Shirley Temple movie called "The Blue Bird" at all? It is a weird one of hers, but still cute. Your video reminds me a little bit of it. . .a magical fairylike story shown. I think you'd appreciate it. I know you two like classic films, as I do. The Secret Garden book is one of my all time favorite books. it is one of the few books I have read more than once. I also read this really great book called "Unearthing: The Secret Garden: The Plants and Places that Inspired Frances Hodgson Burnett" that told about the author and her love for roses. it had a lot of information and photographs of the places she lived in and that she took of her gardens (in a gorgeous black and white). I always love Jonas' artwork. Well done, sir. You could sell painted birdhouses as well as your pumpkins and artwork! -(formerly) JusticePirate

You just install it and download a library of bird sounds from your region and then press record when you hear birds and it tells you what bird it is. Every April I either read the book or watch the movie Enchanted April. If you haven't ; hope you will. Its such a lovely story. Another thats perfect for either Valentines day or Easter is Chocolat; both book and movie. We are waiting for more Spring weather in So. Utah. My lavender is coming alive; and buds on my lilac. You have so many lovely cottage things. What a pretty apron and Jonas such a talented artist. I am trying to embrance spring even though it is still pretty cold in Scotland at the moment....it does not really start warming up until May. But there are some spring flowers out. Daffodils and primroses in my garden. Washing my windows is now on the list of things to do.....No excuses! I took a 4 hour train journey up to the Highlands yesterday and I took too lovely small teacups and saucers with me so that myself and my stepmum could enjoy our flask of coffee on the train in pretty cups.....it tastes so much better that way!

All of your Spring colors and adornments both inside and out are delightful! I brought out my Easter and Spring decorations a few weeks ago, most in pastel colors of green, blue, lavender, pink, and yellow and am so enjoying the light and hope they bring to my apartment after Winter. My daffodils, tulips, and other spring bulbs are in bloom, and the robins are singing! I LOVE your idea of using beloved children's books to decorate with and display, as well as vintage cards, linens, handkerchiefs, doilies, etc. I'm blessed to have inherited many that belonged to my Grandmother and Great-Grandmother, and am inspired to add them to my decor. Thank you for sharing the lavender- infused vinegar solution for washing windows, which is next on my Spring cleaning list. Jonas your hand-painted birdhouse is adorable, and the lemon cake pie you baked looks scrumptious! Lindsay you truly are a living Disney princess, and as lovely as ever! old world simplistic with a slight formality to it and a certain time honored noble simplicity though modern, the way you do things the way you dress the decor and setting its not over the top but its adorned its muted but still uses colors the clothing is practical but also adorning that add to the look of the person not tear them down like modern fashion will often do, I bet your house smells amazing like a greenhouse or antique shop sans the harsh eucoliptus smell of flower shops, what kind of tea you drinking looks maybe a black or white tea I like white tea or a nice green, perhaps a half hot half cold matcha out of a bowl so I can embrace my tea and keep it like tea ceremony in japan, which supposedly the character for friendship in japan tomodachi I belive is the word um its supposed to be a symbol from two hands holding a bowl of soup or maybe tea and offering it to someone, so I embrace my tea wish had time for more but need too much caffine that tea just dont provide enough and when 5 minutes before work is hanging I just dont have time to brew and let the tea cool off enough to drink so it dont burn my tongue but its nice >^O^< like petting a subtle purring cat

I was sniffing my phone hoping for smellovision, but I know it smells lovely when Jonas bakes. 50 years ago I had a room in which I painted every square inch pineapple yellow . It was glorious but even more so when the ancient pink dogwood tree ,outside the big bay window ,came into full bloom in the spring. All gone now. Time to give a new room the same uplifting treatment. Thanks for cheering me up with your heartwarming video. The antidote for world weary cynicism. Thank You❤

Have you ever seen the Shirley Temple movie called "The Blue Bird" at all? It is a weird one of hers, but still cute. Your video reminds me a little bit of it. . .a magical fairylike story shown. I think you'd appreciate it. I know you two like classic films, as I do.
The Secret Garden book is one of my all time favorite books. it is one of the few books I have read more than once. I also read this really great book called "Unearthing: The Secret Garden: The Plants and Places that Inspired Frances Hodgson Burnett" that told about the author and her love for roses. it had a lot of information and photographs of the places she lived in and that she took of her gardens (in a gorgeous black and white).
I always love Jonas' artwork. Well done, sir. You could sell painted birdhouses as well as your pumpkins and artwork!

We can highly recommend an app called Merlin, that help identify birds. You just install it and download a library of bird sounds from your region and then press record when you hear birds and it tells you what bird it is. So handy and easy. :)

Every April I either read the book or watch the movie Enchanted April. If you haven't ; hope you will. Its such a lovely story. Another thats perfect for either Valentines day or Easter is Chocolat; both book and movie. We are waiting for more Spring weather in So. Utah. My lavender is coming alive; and buds on my lilac. In the open spaces the new Sage is coming up and running my hands over the new growth; the smell is wonderful. Happy Easter and Glad Pask.🌷🌺

As regards myself, I love springtime too and this season, I try to identify some little birds by the sound they made, it is not always easy but so exciting ! Speaking of bird sounds, have you heard of an app called Merlin? It is an app who also give you the opportunity to download the library of bird sounds in your region so it then can recognize the birds you hear and tell you who they are when you use it! :) Quite handy!

You have so many lovely cottage things. What a pretty apron and Jonas such a talented artist. I am trying to embrance spring even though it is still pretty cold in Scotland at the moment....it does not really start warming up until May. But there are some spring flowers out. Daffodils and primroses in my garden. Washing my windows is now on the list of things to do.....No excuses! I took a 4 hour train journey up to the Highlands yesterday and I took too lovely small teacups and saucers with me so that myself and my stepmum could enjoy our flask of coffee on the train in pretty cups.....it tastes so much better that way!

HAPPY SPRING Jonas and Lindsay! I so enjoy watching your videos, and adore seeing how you transform Cobweb Cottage each season! All of your Spring colors and adornments both inside and out are delightful! I brought out my Easter and Spring decorations a few weeks ago, most in pastel colors of green, blue, lavender, pink, and yellow and am so enjoying the light and hope they bring to my apartment after Winter. My daffodils, tulips, and other spring bulbs are in bloom, and the robins are singing!
I LOVE your idea of using beloved children's books to decorate with and display, as well as vintage cards, linens, handkerchiefs, doilies, etc. I'm blessed to have inherited many that belonged to my Grandmother and Great-Grandmother, and am inspired to add them to my decor. Thank you for sharing the lavender- infused vinegar solution for washing windows, which is next on my Spring cleaning list. Jonas your hand-painted birdhouse is adorable, and the lemon cake pie you baked looks scrumptious! Lindsay you truly are a living Disney princess, and as lovely as ever!

old world simplistic with a slight formality to it and a certain time honored noble simplicity though modern, the way you do things the way you dress the decor and setting its not over the top but its adorned its muted but still uses colors the clothing is practical but also adorning that add to the look of the person not tear them down like modern fashion will often do, I bet your house smells amazing like a greenhouse or antique shop sans the harsh eucoliptus smell of flower shops, what kind of tea you drinking looks maybe a black or white tea I like white tea or a nice green, perhaps a half hot half cold matcha out of a bowl so I can embrace my tea and keep it like tea ceremony in japan, which supposedly the character for friendship in japan tomodachi I belive is the word um its supposed to be a symbol from two hands holding a bowl of soup or maybe tea and offering it to someone, so I embrace my tea wish had time for more but need too much caffine that tea just dont provide enough and when 5 minutes before work is hanging I just dont have time to brew and let the tea cool off enough to drink so it dont burn my tongue but its nice >^O^< like petting a subtle purring cat
