I'm English but have travelled a lot in India over the last 11years. I've missed being in India many times but this video felt different...it actually made me feel *homesick*. I think the scales may have tipped😂. As a foreigner it's hard to explain but a few of us keep returning because of something almost indefinable. This isn't because we're eternal tourists looking for bargain basement holidays. It's because there's something about India & Indians that just gets under your skin somehow. I first experienced it on my second visit- stepping out of New Delhi IGI airport. I felt as if I was putting on a much loved & comfortable shirt that long ago had moulded its shape to mine. A simple cup of tea a few hours later cemented a feeling that I have never lost since. That day my first sip of masala chai from a street side chaiwala was like a long-awaited hug from my mother. As the sights, sounds and smells of Mataji Bharat swirled around me I drank my tea & something magical happened. The sweet warmth of the chai, richness of the dhood and delicacy of the spices danced on my tongue , touched my soul & my bones came alive. From that moment on the feeling never left me. There was absolutely no doubt about it..My ātman has sung to me & in a split second I was eagerly, irreversibly & undoubtably in love. Jai Hind.

I remember this place only by the name of great warrior Jaswant Singh Rawat of the Indian Army. He alone killed 300 Chinese soldiers in 1962 war, but we lost the war. He took birth at such a great place.

I love Paudi and I've visited here several times. So many greenish all around it's also good for health and eyes too and I must say that in a clear shiny day you'll get a 180 degrees awesome, amazing views of Himalay's famous peaks from Paudi.
