7/14/24 Dave Montgomery NWOR SCCA XP Porsche 914/6

Threw away a chunk of time at 0:26-0:28. Too wide of the apex, a little in the marbles too. A really tricky driving day- the line was really narrow this heat after the rain earlier in the day.
But the car ran great - some recent setup tweaks by my Dad are definitely helping eliminate the push and carry more speed through the corner. Progress!

Was the grip less than you expected and you overshot?

@@euroe12 the grip was lower than I expected all day, and the line was narrow- dirty offline. But I think I was pretty calibrated to the surface by this time, so I think the main issue was that I wasn’t reading that corner the right way. Probably an issue with my visuals- not looking far enough ahead there for some reason. I think I should have touched the brakes here and bled more speed, stayed tighter, and for some reason I didn’t. I don’t know.
