I wish I cud post a pic but I have had a tiny little book of gnomes since I was a little girl. I still have it. It's about 2 inches long by 1 inch wide & I love that you've used the larger pages from that book. Good idea!! Love ur journal!!👍🏼

Illustrations in the manuscripts are called illuminations. The one with the handwriting of which you don't know the language is from the Voynich Manuscript and it is probably a secret language or jibberish. I think it is magical and intriguing and pretty too!
