I disagree, but it's the shape she worked for years to accept as her shape that has nothing wrong with it even though it's outside the norm. Gok manages to embrace that while concealing and balancing it to match the generalized norm. Amazing.

this shop is literally so much more affordable than the ones in America, and it has such beautiful materials... I'm not seeing any weird looking satin tops or anything. every gown is literally stunning in its own way and I love that
I love that they respected her first budget. You know that Atlanta would’ve probably only given her dresses with prices using the whole budget (and they would’ve looked worse).

@@lc5929 When he hears "I'd like to keep the price point around £1,500.00", he pulls dresses that start at £2,500-£3,000.00. Higher or unlimited budget? He pulls dresses in the £1,000.00-£1,500.00 range. Exactly opposite of the bride's budget.
My jaw hit the floor for every reveal and I legit gasped when I saw the flawless bardot sleeves he made for her on the spot. Gok is magic and so is his shop.
I love that GOK does things like this, he's amazing! Rarely do any consultants add or change anything except to add a blingy belt.
The gown she chose genuinely might be the most beautiful gown I've ever seen! She looks absolutely stunning!

Gok was born for this. Picks amazing dresses, makes the bride feel fantastic and the cherry on top? He keeps well within or surprisingly under budget whilst fulfilling the expectations. Love him.
The combination of Gok really listening and attuning to the bride and amazing selection of dresses in this shop creates absolute magic. Gok’s goal is a happy bride in her dream dress. Nothing to do with making a sale or selling the most expensive dress. He has bride’s best interest in heart and it shows.
See, this is why I love Gok very much....he is confident, he is straightforward and he knows very clearly what he is up to.....at the same time Gok is a very soft guy....
He isn’t going to sugarcoat his words for anyone...and at the same time he is never going to force his opinions to anyone....I love his genuine and sweet personality.
Her confidence makes her beautiful in everything she wears. Gok is always on point, what a real life fairy godmother!

Agreed. My only issue is the stairs; I wonder if any bride has taken a tumble. They have to hold up the dresses with both hands in high heels where they can't see their feet and can't hold the rail while being nervous and stressed with the task at hand. I wish he could find a better facility.

SYTTD episodes with Jo and Al from Curvy Brides Boutique are really quite good as well. They're like Auntie Gok with the therapy and helping curvy brides find not only their dream dress but also their confidence and self-esteem.
@@johnnabuzby6103 Yes, I like them very much and not just for the psychology. They decided to serve a special market and they do know style and fit very well. I imagine being way out in the country they inherited the family farm or something like that and couldn't or didn't want to make a go of it in agriculture. They got really clever and are making their way in this business. Quite a feat!

Grok always knows what to put the bride in to accentuate her best features and to capture the look that they truly look best in. I love how he doesn’t immediately get the most expensive gowns and go way over budget.

i think that lancashire is the BEST syttd series. Gok is incredible, the dresses are always STUNNING, and I feel like the interactions seem so much more genuine and sweet.
That last dress,,, WOW! I actually had to pause the video and look at her in that dress. It’s absolutely stunning, and I’m so glad she feels beautiful wearing it

Okay, I spoke too soon....the second one gives me strong Ariel vibes. I am in awe and love that dress on her also. She looked so elegant, the detail and structure of the dress is subtle but complimented the dress and her figure beautifully. That's also, my favorite.
