It takes thinking out of the game for the prep phase. AS an attacker you should be thinking what site have they gone for? and base your team around that, if they've gone a different site then you have to deal with the consequences of picking the wrong operator

So castle should be an operator with knifes that create gases that form a bullet proof barrier that breaks easily. Or a fully window/door mounted armored panel. I doubt anyone is going to use her like castle and if they do they might as well just bring castle because be can fully cover windows/doors. The new operator is mainly going to be used to cover breaches create unpredictable peak angles and stop vertical play. Castle is ment to cover angles and waste utility to common entry points. He can also set up site better and has proximity alarms that grant better Intel. Also he has 4 of them and takes 3 times longer to destroy. Castle is fine it's why many people like myself main him. People said that twitch would be useless when Flores came out. Never happened.

nobody plays a bad site only because the attackers wont have the right ops. And now people don't even pick ops based on their gadget or where they are attacking, they just play it for the gun.
I can finally put on Russian sights on most of my guns since let’s be honest the Russian sights are way better than the normal ones by a mile Hell I wouldn’t be surprised if good old ubi remove the sights from certain weapons to “balance”
A lot of people unsure about attacker repick are failing to consider that the game has been defender biased for a while, plus the new OP completely changes the rules of the game. Defense has the luxury of preparing a custom maze for the attackers, hiding traps, roaming and the like. The least the attackers could get is some way to react to that fact using their intel. Also protip: if you don't want to be countered, you can always make the choice to go hide from their drones. It'll cost you your setup time but it's now a valid trade off.
Attacker re-pick is kind of broken. Imagine your entire team has flashbangs and smokes, but you see they have a warden so you just "nope" his entire gadget
Attacker repick is a feature that will surely make people angry…. But think about it. It adds to the realism of the game. If a SWAT unit or whatever sent in a drone to scout an area and what not…. It would make complete sense for them to send in units that are specially equipped to deal with what they’ve scouted. Hence the repick option.
Yes.. because people play siege because of realism... Definitely not because it's a competitive game that would be ruined by letting attackers have the best comp for any given site they play. Shit take dude, go home.

Having every attacker round being able to have the best possible comp for every single site is an idea only ubisoft would come up with. They're killing their game and people like you are applauding. 🤦♂
Idk if u read comments but they should add where the Defenders can change their guns, they can't re-pick operators but they will be able to change their weapons which I think would be very cool
It does look like an interesting change with the new operator, but for the life of me I just can't put myself through the disappointment again. 2500hrs, quit playing around 3 years ago. Every time I install the game, its just horrible. The way they absolutely DESTROYED movement, ADS speeds, and animations just makes me sad. It was such a good game. I tell everyone, if they'd kept on the original track instead of going the e-sports route, the game would easily have had over 1M concurrent players by now. Instead they chose to flush out the original player base with a bunch of sweats that wanna go pro, bringing the hackers with them.
