- Today i melt a heap of Slag together which contains Brass, Bronze, Copper, Aluminium Bronze, Aluminium & Zinc. The bar came out absolutely awesome and looks n feels great. I also did a Copper Slag melt and that bar turned out great aswell.

That mixed slag ingot is one of the most beautiful ingots you've made yet. Almost looks like white gold.

Ultimately it prob contains primarily copper then zinc then aluminum then tin, I'm guessing. it may fall under a category of brass or bronze depending on content ratios.

First of all there are no 6 metals there. Remelted alloys can't be considered as separate metals. So, 4 metals at best: tin, zinc, aluminium and copper. Secondly, under long treatment at temperatures of copper fuse small amounts of zinc likely to boil away completely.
Bigstack - I think it would be really cool to see you pour a high temp metal (Bronze or Brass) ingot into a smaller graphite mold with the taper, invert it into a larger mold and pour a lower temp metal (aluminum or?) to surround it giving it a two-tone look on the polished face while locking it into place together.
The fact that you recycle absolutely everything is amazing.

Lol I wonder if, now that you have done a 6-metal bar, maybe try non-slag melt? If I may suggest, use some already cleaned up metals like failed coin-castings and such... That will help you consolidate and make more room for new pieces, as well as prevent too mich pitting and rippling. I want to see you make a clean, smoothly-poured, multi-metal, ingot-artpiece... I know you can make a great one... or more. 😁

Try coating the cast iron mold with liquid white out. Blacksmiths do that when they make canister Damascus... Just an idea for you.
