FYI- The rubber band is not a legal FLL part. There are rubber bands produced by Lego that should be used in place of the one shown.

Could you put L beams on the arm and grab stuff with it?
+Dean Moffitt sure! You can to that! I would add some way that whatever you pick up can not slide all the way down the beam.
Can you tell us which rubber bands you used, and do you have a link to purchase them?
+jerry they are actually LEGO pulley bands. There should be some in the base EV3 kit. If you do know have any, you can find some on bricklink.com

I'm new to this subject, and I speak little English, you could help me.How many engines at a time can I put in an ev3?
Informatica Portillo Sure! You can put 4 motors to an EV3 brick. (Ports A, B, C, D). You can also put 4 sensors. (Ports 1, 2, 3, 4)
Informatica Portillo All 4 motors are allowed the robot at a time.
Do you mind showing how to build your robot or somthing simalar?
