Tempered. Loved this; more videos like this would be cool. I feel like a lot of EE creators are focusing their content towards top 0,001% of people who have all teams and heroes maxed out. Most of us have 1-3 heroes per team lol
Any game with gearing mechs is always overly difficult to maintain due to rng on gear and resources. I play epic seven and it shares a similiar playstyle in this aspect. My problem with this game is how do i know what applies to what without the waste of resources. Is there a tab in game that explains it thoroughly
Ok, I haven't watched 4 minutes, and already disagree with almost everything you said/did so far. So let's discuss... first, the best answer to "what should I temper" is "anything gear you need, except..." and then list a few exceptions that are not worth at all to be tempered (Isolated, Steady and Blessed from Dessa Caves; any set from Ancient Altar (i.e., Abundant, Light Gap, Herald and Gluttony); Realm from Roulete of Truth; Fnaw from Crimson Rot; Majestic from Mirage, and Bugmaster*** from Thunder Cliff). From these sets that are not worth tempering, noticed that any set from Ancient Altar cannot be tempered, therefore no questions here. ***Bugmaster is a set that, if it was possible, would be worth tempering, because it's highly useful against some bosses in some PvE contents. However, Bugmaster cannot be tempered, so unfortunately we need to accept it as it is. The remaining in the exception list are there because they are useless or because there are better options to use for all heroes. Ok, this first part clearly discussed and explained, the question is now: from the list of tempering materials, which ones are worth tempering, and up to which level of tempering? In my opinion, and here I'll diverge a lot from what you, @InsightGamingGuides, do, is: I temper primarily equipment rank SSS or S, and if I really really really really (after so many attempts) still can't obtain at least an S, then I'll open an exception and temper equipment rank A. But even in this case, I'll make sure this equipment rank A has a main attribute that is useful and at least 1 or 2 sub-attributes that are super-useful for my heroes (e,g,: HP% for Tanks, Atk for Assassins, ACC for Summoner, etc). The usefulness of the sub-attribute varies from hero to hero, and you can quickly check it by seeing which sub-attributes have a fire by the side of their names and are highlighted in orange in the hero's equipment view. Of course, it's important to read the skills to make sure there isn't any other sub-attribute that is relevant and is not highlighted as it should have been. Equipment rank A, I temper up to 2 stars only, and no more than that. The reason is that they are still low-level ranks (equipment rank S or SSS usually have more useful sub-attributes, so they are undoubtedly better), and 3-star tempering materials are too rare and hard to obtain. So use up to 2-star materials, because you can fairly obtain them if you're in the beginning or middle game. Besides, the increase of bonus from 2-star tempered equipment to a 3-star is small (it goes from 50% to 60%), so the gain is too small for the rarity of the material. Therefore, use them wisely and save them for equipment that is worth using them.
PS: my concerns about your video are: 1) because you didn't explain why not to temper some of the equipment in the beginning, and your video was very confusing in the beginning, and 2) because I noticed you have a bunch of equipment rank B with 3 or 4 stars, which even for late game individuals is bad. It could be that for a late-game player, you'd have a lot of these rare materials, but you should probably also have by then better equipment (rank S or SSS) to temper instead of rank B. So your account turns out to be a bad example because you literally spent rare resources on very low-level equipment.
I do appreciate your feedback and has for me getting 2-4 start materials it’s not that rare me. Base of what your saying I would ever be able to rank up any equipment at that rate because I would be looking only for a+ gears. I don’t have that luxury and All I look for is the sub stats I need and I don’t pay attention to gear rating to much.
Another important aspect: always strt tempering the equipments that are in the second row: hands, helmet and boots. The reason for this is that these equipments give percentage bonuses, hence they are more valuable than the equipments in the top (which give level bonuses). And only use hands, helmet and boots that have as main attribute a percentage bonus (with the exception of AS for boots and ACC for helmet). Avoid at all costs hands, helmet and boots that bring as main attribute HP in level, Attack in Level, Defense (level or percentage).

Thanks for the suggestion I always up for making contents that’s not about updates and new event.
I don’t see why they wouldn’t like you 🫡

What do you want by what applies to what?
@@InsightGamingGuides which resources are used for tempering which ever armor, and smelting is for what
