That was a beautiful glass jar/pot! I’ve been thinking of taking the leap into trying a glass jar as a pot and it it works maybe I can gradually change all of my small-medium plants to clear glass
Try it out! I can’t recommend it enough. I was able to leave for 12 days and most of my plants were absolutely fine, some not even dried out yet. It helps retain humidity and moisture but as long as the medium is aerated, you’re golden!
I fertilize every time I water, been using better gro better bloom orchid fertilizer recently and they love it, but most houseplant fertilizers will suffice!
first thing is to treat the root system. After cutting away the rotted roots, treating with physan, hydrogen peroxide, or cinnamon are all good options. let it soak overnight then transfer it to a medium well aerated but moisture retentive. I would combine some sphag moss with a little leca or bark. leca alone might be too airy for it at the moment but if it bounces back you can certainly transfer it! hope this is helpful!
Wow didn't realize i can grow plants without any draining holes..i love this..tks.

Amazing video
I would really love to do this rather than messing with an Ikea greenhouse set-up. How do you handle nutrients in this?

Why did you put the moss so high up around the roots..just wanna do what you just did here..
To cover the entire stem, which increases humidity without the assistance of humidifiers. My air ranges from 25% to 55% humidity year round.
My big vetchii is suffering from root rot can i rehab him and trnsfer him to leca alone?
