Would be great to see a video of you actually installing these on a bike. Where are the vacuum ports? Where are the bowl drains? How do you connect it to the fuel line?
Good video. I’m using the same CR29 carbs on 2 of my 750K builds. 836 piston kits. 63A and 41 web cams. Ported, decked heads, SS valves, heavy duty springs, etc. They’re awesome carbs. I love them. Oh and I got polished stacks from Steel Dragon.
Dime City Cycles Thanks. You can get these old 750s to run pretty good with the right setup. I call out to Sudco, tell them what I’ve got and they build me a set. Keep up the awesome videos. 👍
Very nice. I’m currently in the process of a 970 build. Taking me awhile but cycle x has been helpful. I’m also intending to use the CR 29 carb because I can’t stand the clattering sound of the flat slides. I’d like for us to talk more on your build if you don’t mind.
Yeah that's 99% of most carb demos on TH-cam. You have to learn yourself because the TH-cam teachers want to make money by making videos that aren't always in depth comprehensive videos so you have to learn yourself how to de-gang them and the more complex functions/features.
I want the CR for a w650 twin, but I heard they are a bitch to jet and tune on the W. And then I have a custom 2-1 pipe...more problems. So I Am scared to lay down the cash, unless someone can guarantee they can jet and tune the bike properly for both around town commuting and distance touring.
These carburetors are worst in existence are run by vacuum you can't find a serial number and there's absolutely no parts available and absolutely no new carburetors available they are all obsolete !!!!! I don't know if it is the carburetor manufacturer what are the fact that it's a worthless Kawasaki I will never ever buy another one !!!!!
