Lots of very good points, especially from Paddy. I did put a reply to Connor's post match podcast which I will revisit briefly. The chosen defensive style of play that seems to be embedded in this side doesn't differ greatly from Wagner-ball. It revolves around drawing teams on to them with short passes starting with Gunn/Duffy to eventually create an opening to spring an attack, but so many times this is so laboured and has broken down leading to a turnover that creates panic and often soft goals. Forwards are often making good runs but the ball is either too late in delivery or not made at all in favour of a backward or sideways option. I thinks fans have been patient but the consistency of performance over 90 minutes is way off being any where good enough to make any sort of impact in this league. I know its all a work in progress but come post Xmas fans we want to see some real evidence that we are headed onto the motorway of excellence rather than just another cul-de sac.

Ha ha "The Three Scrooges" - an instant Christmas slapstick comedy classic. Nice one, Connor! 😂

I’ve said a few times on these sorts of videos, we know a fully MATCH fit best 11 is good at this level, and certainly if could stay fit would potentially be in the play off mix, but we have to be realistic that that is rarely going to happen, as we’ve seen so far this season. To me it’s no surprise we are mid table. And the reality is it won’t change a lot whilst we have a very thin squad in terms of quality. That’s why they need the transfer windows to build a squad that is genuinely going to be able to consistently compete at this level. We’ve done it many times over the last 20 odd years so I have no doubt good times are ahead again, but I do feel the fan base has to be patient, which is difficult when football drives emotion in us. Saturday was always going to be tough ask after 2 very poor performances against a side going for autos. We looked good in spells but over the 90 they had more than us. We’ve seen enough evidence that when we’ve got a solid starting line up and it clicks we can be very good, but we sadly can’t expect that every week at the minute. Sarg is such a blow because not only is he arguably the best all round striker in the league, we don’t have anyone that can fill his boots even slightly. Crnac we know has potential but isn’t ready to deliver that consistency needed. Sarg leads from the front with the press, is strong, physical, has the pace, the intelligence of runs, the hold up and link up play as well as the eye for goal. And without him it makes us especially poor away from home. Not saying if he had stayed fit we be right up there but I certainly think we’d be in the playoff mix or at least closer to it. It’ll be interesting to see what business will be done in January if any at all, but I for one am still optimistic that all the right people are in charge of this club! OTBC

The recent results at QPR and Portsmouth were both managerial issues in team selection for QPR and style for Pompey. Yesterday it was individual players letting the team down . For fans like me to stay on board we need to keep the style of play never deviate it's easier for fans to see direction.muddle it up and you have Dean Smith which no-one wants.

I only saw the highlights, but Norwich should have at least drawn, no? Just from the clear-cut chances, esp at the end!

I’m asking the question whether the possibility of relegation is on the cards.

Even if you tried to get relegated. You couldn't be worse than, oxford, Plymouth and Portsmouth
