It’s amazing to see this store still has the original 90s Chuck E Cheese Pizza exterior, very cool! The whole store itself is stuck in the 90s, and I love it!
It's amazing for me because this is the Chuck E Cheese I used to go to when I was a child. I'm glad that the animantronics are still there, especially because I don't know if the new one in Santee, CA, which is extremely close to La Mesa, CA, probably doesn't have them.
A friend of mine actually lives down the street from this location. The band was down when we went as well but I had a huge nostalgia trip checking out the the old decor and actually getting to see a showroom in person. Knowing they're fixing the animatronics makes me want to go visit it again soon!
Grew up with this location and it still had the really early 90s feeling to it, recently the showroom lights were dimmed but for some reason they turned that off and idk why exactly. Anyway I really love this store because it really feels like you went in a Time Machine back to the 90s!
6:12 that whole area is where the skytubes use to be. Fun fact it was the OG skytubes from 1994 with 2 levels of tubes and a yellow and green patterned slide. It was never updated and they took it down in 2017. This was my childhood Chuck E. Cheese btw
I remember in the early 80s going to Chuck E. Cheese’s Pizza Time Theater was like going to the movies. They had the movie carpet, dim lighting, a plastic ball room, and when you entered the show room it was like you’re entering the movie theaters. TH-cam “1983 Chuck E. Cheese’s Pizza Time Theater”
This was my childhood Chuck E Cheese Growing up, I’m very happy to see it hasn’t changed much! I moved away from CA four years ago and was wondering if the animatronics were still there. I am very pleased!
This location is a phase 2 in its exterior. Phase 2 locations have the chucks cheese pizza logo and usually the checkered squares. The logo is either cool Chuck or ptt Chuck in a circle
Very cool you went to this store, Chris! I went to this store 5 years ago in May 2019. Back then they actually had the record posters from the 90s remodel, although a lot of the old art would be replaced in late 2019/early 2020 with 2005 remodel art from another store. La Mesa's stage has been in disrepair for many years and was / is still having a problem of some of the characters programming signals being swapped with another character (like Munch does Pasqually's movements). Supposedly the stage stopped working completely (idk if the lights work) sometime in 2023 and apparently is getting 2.0 sometime this year, although they will be closing by 2025 since the lease with Grossmont Center expires then, and Grossmont Center will be redeveloped in the future.
Not a day goes by that I don't *loathe* how horribly CEC fumbled the interior of Northridge in terms of the classic art and the like; at least locations like this still stand as a testament of what could be!! Ugh, the dimmer lighting, the WARMER lighting! It's so beautiful!
Great video chris i love the old sign here you should check out Bridgewater NJ when you're in that area it is a studio c with the last interactive console
I was there yesterday and it literally smells like my childhood! Animatronics were still in the same condition. Will pop in there again in 3 weeks to see it’s condition
Milwaukee Chase also has a Showroom and walls, you only visited once I believe. Also has a band still. Brookfield WI Chuck E. Cheese still has a retro sign outside and very old art and is still dimmed down in the store. Sadly the C stage is not working anymore but awesome store
If you’re in the area, could you check out Corona CA again? They are currently undergoing 2.0 and I think you could score some things in the dumpster. Just a suggestion though
I’m guessing they changed it to Chuck E. Cheese because EVERYBODY called it that despite it being called Chuck E. Cheese’s. Even Chris said Chuck E. Cheese during his promo😂
Hey Chris. If you remember my old channel, CECVerse or something like that, I moved to this account. Anyways. Good CEC vid! Happy Friday my dude. Me and my mom are planning to buy some shirts from there. Mosaic Chuck and the CEC PTT Logo.
The irony of CEC corp destroying parts while unique stores like this are actively looking for parts to make their shows work. CEC corp has been so counter intuitive to themselves for no reason that I can see other than obstinance - I hope they’ve realised the value of keeping the handful of stages still in circulation in good condition now, they do seem to slowly be waking up and smelling the coffee
This Store Will Close Soon Witch Is Pretty Sad. The Reason Why It Will Close Because The Entire Mall Will Be Demolished And Built Into Something Else...

This location is the only other hope after Northridge too..
Sadly it won't remain like this for long I imagine :/ as the company is hellbent on getting rid of the past except for Cali
@@MystiqEevee Yeah, sadly.

I'm so happy that Chuck e cheese still had the old sign in that one location

i think parma ohio and milwaukee wisconsin have showroom, although they are phase 5
also it is the oldest 1 stage since lowell got 2.0
It’s crazy this is the last Chuck E. Cheese pizza exterior. If the CEC in Baltimore (east ave) stayed open there would be two pizza exteriors
This was my childhood Chuck E Cheese Growing up, I’m very happy to see it hasn’t changed much! I moved away from CA four years ago and was wondering if the animatronics were still there. I am very pleased!
I am so happy about you are finally found this former Chuck E. Cheese pizza with phase 3 & 1 stages with cec animatronics
This location is a phase 2 in its exterior. Phase 2 locations have the chucks cheese pizza logo and usually the checkered squares. The logo is either cool Chuck or ptt Chuck in a circle
@@Peq92 yep, correct. This is the only phase two store in this world
@@edwinaguilar1433 kinda unrelated but the last phase 1 was closed in 2006 (newtington, NH) which had a full ptt exterior

This Is The Amazing Retro Store I Ever Seen! I Hope They Turn This Into A Retro Store Like Northridge Ca! Also Good Video By The Way! 👍
Great video bro! I very love chuck e cheese animatronics and showbiz pizza place. Thank you for new video!!!
Love those images of bowler hat Chuck above the entryway and exit to the showroom, as well as the one in the arcade. Those need to be saved.
La Mesa, CA
Built - 1994
Stage - 1 stage(1994)
thats the location that I always visit! I have been since 07
I love your work and I’m very happy to see the middle stage is done
Not a day goes by that I don't *loathe* how horribly CEC fumbled the interior of Northridge in terms of the classic art and the like; at least locations like this still stand as a testament of what could be!!
Ugh, the dimmer lighting, the WARMER lighting! It's so beautiful!
This one looks good! That's a combination of stuff from the '97 and stuff from the present day! (A lil bit of 2.0 stuff)
Great video chris i love the old sign here you should check out Bridgewater NJ when you're in that area it is a studio c with the last interactive console
COME TO BELLEVUE WA! ONE OF THE LAST 1 STAGES AND CHUCK IS STILL ON HIS TURNTABLE! THE SHOW IS FUNCTIONAL AND GREAT!
Ive been there twice :)
I was there yesterday and it literally smells like my childhood! Animatronics were still in the same condition. Will pop in there again in 3 weeks to see it’s condition
Are they moving now ?
This 1 stage and the 1 stage in Toledo, Ohio opened around a month apart from each other. Their conditions is extremely different.
This location is the best location I’ve seen with the old decor and especially the premier poster from the 90s and you should also check out Mira mesa
I believe the 2nd to last store with the CEC Pizza signage was Essex, which closed in 2018.
that is correct. Altoona also has a CEC Pizza sign on a small sign near the door, but La Mesa is the last true Chuck E. Cheese's Pizza.
I love this store! Wonder where your 100 visit will be
Milwaukee Chase also has a Showroom and walls, you only visited once I believe. Also has a band still. Brookfield WI Chuck E. Cheese still has a retro sign outside and very old art and is still dimmed down in the store. Sadly the C stage is not working anymore but awesome store
It’s interesting to watch you visit a store I have gone to many times.
I had my 1st birthday party here, The location might be closing before 2025 which sucks. I’m trying to visit the store one last time
They should make this a retro store but just the dance floor and no other 2.0 additions than that
Chris i was waiting for u to do a store tour of this chuck e cheese
OMG it’s Chuck E. Cheese from the 1980s and from the 1990s
My favorite episode yet I thought all the showroom walls were gone how many are still left.
hi chris this video is so cool. your new webshop is very good,I might order a T-shirt sometime. hi chris have a great weekend.
Love
Nostalgia!
I went to that Chuck E Cheese in 12.08.23
My Chuck E. Cheese’s in Long Island City, NY had the sane exterior up until last year, also gone is the single animatronic.
Coolest thing ever
Augusta ga had a stage 3 showroom sadly my childhood is gone
If they had a 3 stage with an entire show room it would be perfect
Lynwood Washington also had a walled off showroom. However, the sign that said “showroom” with Chuck was removed years before you visited.
rest in fresh pizza sauce
Anyone have updates on pineville Chuck E. Cheese everything I see online is February 24 remodel
just wait until the supposed remodel start date. news will quickly spread and then wait a few weeks to see if the stage is staying or not
Minecraft dungeons arcade card is coming to cec!
when will la mesa 1 stage get fixed?
I hope corp buy this location so it can be a legacy store #savelamesacec!
This should really be the retro store
If you’re in the area, could you check out Corona CA again? They are currently undergoing 2.0 and I think you could score some things in the dumpster.
Just a suggestion though
2 years ago, their was just as many road stages are their are one stages now
Quick question, what is the worst condition animatronics you have come across?
The best pizzeria found it ever!
This was a good stream
#savepineville3stage #savepineville
Can you go to Victoria tx and see the final days of the capppa
Don't ever let them remodel it!
It’s Worse. It’s Closing Down.
They haven't use tokens anymore
I love it
What’s ppt? What does it stand for?
PTT* (Pizza Time Theatre)
That place looks like Northridge was nearly cloned
2:58 look at chuck e
I’m guessing they changed it to Chuck E. Cheese because EVERYBODY called it that despite it being called Chuck E. Cheese’s. Even Chris said Chuck E. Cheese during his promo😂
Only 32 mmbb stages left
Guys I need help , what cec still has a band in the New York area or New Jersey?
nanuet and hicksville
nanuet is just studio c tho
#saveLaMesastage
Their Not Saving La Mesa. La Mesa Is Closing In I Believe 2025 and CEC is Only Saving One 1 Stage, Hicksville, NY.
Hoping this is a legacy store
Hey Chris. If you remember my old channel, CECVerse or something like that, I moved to this account. Anyways. Good CEC vid! Happy Friday my dude. Me and my mom are planning to buy some shirts from there. Mosaic Chuck and the CEC PTT Logo.
This is the last to remodel in all the Chuck E. Cheese’s?
this is my favorite store ever! sadly they will move
The store looks like Northridge calafornia
Only bad thing is that they have phase 4 art
Omg
Sad this store will soon be shutting down.
btw it's 15, not 16 , one stages left at Chuck E Cheese's
They let you go in without child

Free the la mesa Chuck e cheese
At 2:57 Chuck looks dead inside
I’ve been here before
Chuck e cheese
Current most outdated CEC store since northridges remodel
E
And
This store was much better before 2019, in 2019 they got stupid Phase 4 posters, such a downgrade, stupid store, nice video tho
Read the comments on you r last video and plz plz plz go to my location if you can, you just need to tell me if you can’t
This Store Will Close Soon Witch Is Pretty Sad. The Reason Why It Will Close Because The Entire Mall Will Be Demolished And Built Into Something Else...
this Stage is Dead forever now these guys are going to be destroyed for my prospective if that's true or not.
Happy Friday
