Sim is like a identity of the user. So people can call a specific person with the mobile number associated with that sim. Phones can still connect to the nearby towers and make emergency calls without a sim card.

I always wondered why maps doesn’t show exact location while I’m in the CBD (Central business district) where crowded tall business buildings can be seen. Now I have got the answer from this video. Beautifully explained 👍🏻
Not only multi path or troposphere or ionosphere error, it may be ephemeris error, receiver error, and we are not using GPS actually.. we are using A-GPS( assisted GPS), so normal GPS will be +/- 5-10mt error.. then u may ask how aircraft or fighter plan work on gps.. they use advanced gps called differential gps.. nice video !

I used to think that GPS satellites send the latitude and longitude info directly to the phone receiver. I didn't know about trilateration method of calculation using time difference.
in that case, even our mobiles should have a high accuracy clock, isn't it ?

Bro இதையும் தான்டி cell phone sensors சரியா இருக்க மாட்டிங்கது bro. I use many phone but Samsung and Redmi give most accurate location. Other wise oppo vivo totally weast for gps. I could track my location on runing bus using Samsung old phone(Samsung GTS5360) But new oppo A37F failed on few years ago. So, redmi and samsung mostly give importance for gps sensor. Also Redmi gives high important for IR Blaster until now
