A new map that isn't in the desert would be great and then if it's in Europe, even better. As for Delanclip, I have the old version with a wire and PS3 camera and last year I bought the version with the new camera and wireless and it works very well and I'm super happy with the product.

I already asked on ED page have they ever considered making a Balkan map, they replied "Yes, it would be a great map for DCS someday". As a Serb, would love to fly over my country with MiG-29. Plus in the 90's we had all sort of planes flying over Balkans: Tornados, Harriers, Hornets, Vipers, MiG's, Tomcats, Eagles, ETC, so it would be great addition to existing aircrafts and equipment to put on one theater, creating and re-creating existing scenarios.
With ch-47 and hercules we seem to be getting new logistics. I remember hearing about ED saying they are improving Ai as well. We are getting some cool maps and planes. I believe upcoming 2 years will be quite fun and interesting for DCS.
Gotta say, ED kept the Chinook under wraps so well since the first announcement to the pre-order ones. Nice encouragement for me to do logistics missions, might have to hurt my wallet for a flight pedal to fly rotaries soon.

The BO-105 is being developed by Miltech-5 / PD for DCS World and yes the depicted one in our video is from Arma 3 Global Mobilization as we don't have yet any video from the developer. It makes sense to accompany such a map.
Oh man...a Cold War-Map located in Wetern and Eastern Germany would be absolutely amazing. If it will happen, I could fly in Areas of my childhood and even with the models, I grew up with ... the Mi-8 and Mi-24
Definitely a fan of Fox3. We are one of their biggest customers. I am definitely looking forward to the new maps and updates. I am considering the CH-47 but really want that C-130.
I loved the idea of cargo and transporting assets inside of DCS since the beginnings... Now there i see ED actually implementing these features i will do this all the time❤💛💙 im so glad that all i need to do, to get all the news i need for dcs, is just to return to HIP. Great video, a western Europe map would good. But I think it would be better to see some of the maps that we already have start to merge into one bigger map.
Such a same for ED to put effort and resources to create all these cool mods but don't have a world/spherical map as a high priority...and no the solution is not creating more sectoral maps! Lack of whole earth limits DCS potential so much! Thanks for the video as always!
The chinook in afghanistan reminds of that scene in restrepo where they bring the soldiers to the outpost in the kunduz valley, also logistics missions would also mean a dynamic campaign :)
I am actually excited for the chinook. In my opinion, it doesn’t change, but rather adds focus to the logistics, troop transport potential that DCS has. Awesome to see that focus in parallel to the regular dogfight, CAS, SEAD, etc gameplay that is already in DCS (without/with less need for mods).
A feel like Fulda Gap map would scratch a massive itch in the community for a cold-war gone hot setting. Noting the technical challenges with a fully fledged vietnam map, this could definitely offer a realistic setting to put aircraft from that era through their paces.
Great reporting and I did preorder the Chinook as $48 is a good price and it's my favoite helicopter of all time and I just got the MSFS 2020 version so I thought it will be good to compair them.
I have been using delan clip for a few years now and just upgraded to their more recent camera and it tracker, absolutely worth it and can definitely recommend!!!
Jep, a Delan clip with a PS3 camera was my first head tracker, and I'm still using it. I'm thinking about the wireless Delan clip now... can definitely recommend them, the price is OK and their products worked flawlessly for me since years!
@@stscc01 same here! Definately worth using the wireless, I haven't had issues with battery life or charging it, and it's been nice to go cordless. 10/10 would recommend.
I have the wired version of the delanclip and I love it it was only like 50 bucks and it works great. When I was just getting into dcs some guy on srs recommended it to me! I wish I knew who he was so I could thank him!

I would be interested in the map covering Goose Bay Labrador. I understand this area is a coveted area for training for world wide top gun situations. By the way this is located in Canada 🇨🇦 proximity East Coast.
New maps and aircraft are always a great addition, however, there are some things that need to be worked on ATC, mission editor and AI logic still has a ways to go.
The comment about the German border in the Chinook pre-purchase video was made by me😊. But if we look at something else, in the 31st second of the video an image of the jungle appears, with two brown cabins... it could be Marianas WWII or it could also be Vietnam?? I cannot wait for the Chinook to be released. While I am excited to see what gameplay dynamics it will bring, like transport of troops and vehicles, I am just really keen to fly it. The DCS flight model has always felt the best to me compared to any other sim, nothing flies like DCS aircraft and helicopters. And the Huey is one of my favourite helicopters to fly. So I am very excited to try the Chinook and to feel what it feels like. I wonder if little Petrovic will make the Chinook the first heli he learns to fly?
Yes, I couldn't believe it when I saw that post by Nine Line! Last I heard was Wags saying he'd really want a "Fulda Gap" map, but that with current technology it would be difficult. And now this! This is the "subject to change" I can get behind, 100%! 🙂🙂 This is really great news! Time to dust off "Red Storm Rising" (the Clancy book) again. Soooo, full-fidelity A-10A, AH-64A, F-16C Block 25 or Block 30/32 when? 😛😉 As for the second "green" map, my guess is still: Korea. But a Balkans map would be nice as well. It would need parts of Northern Italy (Aviano, Piacenza) as well, though.

It was set up from the eastern side with 2 rows of fences, tank blocks and the watchtowers. The fence closest to the west was directly on the border. This means tanks and helis that are between the 2 fences are either gdr/soviet or will be shot at🤔 just a theory though, i am a german and would absolutely love a 1980s germany map 😁

A Germany map would be nice for the F-4 in a Cold War gone hot scenario. As of now, we don’t have a theater to use a USAF F-4 in a historical setting
