Joking aside, he was out of ammo. Notwithstanding, most charge-types are anywhere from 1-4 damage, and most don't really run Argent Commander from what I've seen. Giving your opponent ramp with Arcane Golem means you either kill them then and there or you don't; and with Antique Healbots flooding his deck, there's little chance he could overcome that AND control the board. Even Trump's latest run of this fight was SO not in his favor for the majority of the game. (/watch?v=sEhJ_r8vIf0)

These were some fun games to watch on stream. Nice that the expansion added some fun cards that really open up new deck possibilities.
Also somewhat amusing to me how everyone said this card is shit because all people can think of is how cards can fit into existing decks and never some up with novel uses for a card like this.

xAugustx11 It's not because it doesn't belong in any decks, it's because at face value, it is absolutely garbage. It's not in this circumstance, but think about it. It is 2 mana, *do* *nothing* . It's not the "sheep mentality". If it is, then I will abandon my sheep mentality and get in fistfights when people say angry chicken is bad. I am aware this card works, but don't get all high and mighty because people didn't call it. It's not because people are sheeps, it's because this is a fucking weird as shit card, and you can't blame people for not foreseeing this.

Gang Up is "choose a minion." That includes enemy cards. Enemy class cards. Rogue can have 6 ancient or lore in their deck.

CHE6yp it's a high skill cap deck. You need to really understand the deck. You can't expect the first mill rogue run to play like your first mech mage/ face hunter dek etc

CHE6yp I don't have prep, bloodmage or mukla, so replaced them with dancing swords and brewmasters, seems to work ok
I also don't have swords, since it was 3d floor of Nax. Bloodmage and Mukla i can get around (clock giant can make up for that drill and draw). Deathlords i replaced with annoyotron and sludge, they are somewhat ok but deathlord would be so much better.
Prep tho, is something i cant go around.

samaruton Sneed's and Dr. Boom are not OP with Gang Up because by that time they can likely bypass them, if you're gonna go that route it's better to copy Hogger, Leeroy or Ragnaros.
It likely benefit you more in the long run to gang up on medium creatures (not worth hard removal but still tough) of very good utility creatures

Can you imagine the pain of having an empty hand, top decking this, targeted a Doomguard/Leeroy that was already on the board, and top decking those minions EVERY SINGLE TIME?

I'm really scared of mill rogue becoming a major thing now, for two reasons:
-I don't think it'd be fun to play against when it isn't a wacky deck you see once in a blue moon
-Since aggro is possibly the best counter to it it'd just encourage more cancer hunter and zoolock which for God's sake please no.

Aggro is not the only counter to it. I have 80% win rate vs mill rogue with my priest deathrattle/Resurrection deck and also druid mill deck and druid face combo decks are excellent vs it, Druid face combo obstacles are death lords and or repair bots but he just cannot keep up the damage. Also decks with the new Emperor card are good vs mill rogue as you can decrease mana cost of your hand and play more minions per turn at least one only counter being vanish
masterplusmargarita Played against maybe 4 or 5 mill rogues with my wallet wawrrior. Easy 5 wins. If you don't know how to play against mill then you lose.

Shimura Shinpachi i think noone actually said that the boomster was bad. they said maybe it can be played because there isnt a good 7drop in the game right now.Also Gang up is unlike Dr Boom a very situational card. if you are at turn 7 you just can play the dr, and you have a very good turn. but for gang up you need sth at the board thats worth the card.

TheJackFroster theres not really one mukla is too unique and does so well in mill if you dont have him your deck is just going to be weaker, but you can put another card that works with mil in the slot if you do like playing this deck you should make him

I currently don't have the Mukla in my deck, i found Loatheb to be a good replacement for me right now.

On the flipside of 'mill being just slightly improved makes it way more effective', a 'slightly worse' version of this deck is absolutely pathetic. I tried playing this with just a few cards missing and lost almost every game. Do not try to make this archetype work unless you absolutely have all the cards you need.
I prefer a Ragnaross in for a prep, because who dosen't want 7 rags in 1 deck?

QuantumBraced We'll I predict that Gang up will be used in All rogue decks now. Maybe not all decks will run 2 but every deck will at least run 1. Its just way to efficiant and flexible to not use it.

better than gang up for those heavy cost minions are faceless manipulators, in my control decks i always run 2, so if Ysera, Ragnaros, or Tirion, survive, next turn i end up with 3 of em on board, its Gg in 2 turns , but gang up would need like 4 turns to play em all (and draw em consecutevily)
Gang up is too slow a card for any other deck is what most say. It costs 2 mana to not really do anything for a while, which you can't have in this meta, where wasting a turn could lose you the game. Kripp got pretty lucky in the first game. While it's true he didn't have the best start, he had pretty good stall and that druid deck was a bit slow.
It's a fun deck in general, not only for the guy who plays it. It's a fun deck that requires some skill as well, and it's not a 100% counter even to handlock if you know how to play. I have about 50% winrate vs this deck as a handlock, and even if I lose I am not even mad ;]
It's very good for the game that this deck exists and is popular.

Mill Rogue really sucks against Handmage/Lock cus you pretty much lose when he plays a turn 4 Mountain Giant followed by Twilightdrake and Duplicate.And with Imprrator Thaurissan it got even worse

Interestingly enough I dont have a loss against this rogue mill deck with my priest deathrattle deck - I just put too many sticky minions, use the resurrect cards... they can vanish dr doom and mines that many times before I kill them with damage.. they try stop me with 4 shredders or 4 deathlords or 4 oracles but always managed to overpower them. It is not a boast, i am surprised myself

The way the game works is that if your hand is full, and your card is sapped, it is considered dead. Since the hand was full, the belcher "died", causing his Deathrattle to trigger.

Emperor Thaurisan is a good counter to mill decks. Your opponent getting full value with him and causing your opponent to out tempo you with cheaper cards.
But in 40% times Emperor will be milled :D
And 60% of the time it wont
DramakilzU It's rarely enough alone though. Any decent rogue will kill it the turn after it's played and vanish can completely counteract the mana cost. Still, it is one of the few cards that offers a threat to the mill rogue deck.

Seriously though, he is a crazy good card. It's doubtful that most mill decks will actually be "countered" by him though, for a control deck that passive to function you're pretty much obligated to have the tools in place to deal with massive tempo surges anyway. A 10 mana discount doesn't do a whole lot to protect against poison seeds + starfall, y'know?

A lot of it will be dependant on draws of the rogue. If they don't draw coldlight or healbot they are in serious trouble to any rush deck. Also, playing things like mountain giant/clockwork giant/twilight drake are tough for the rogue to deal with when you can get so much damage on board straight after a vanish that can't really be AoEd or eviscerated down. They may start running silence for twilight drakes though so bear that in mind.

MTG is given ample credit by HS players, every time there's a new mechanic, the parallel is drawn with it. Aside from 12 years old players who're not aware of the roots of card gaming, everyone acknowledges that HS is just a casual game with a fraction of the card available in MTG.

+Jeffrey Gebb yeah, i remember it gaining popularity around about 4th Ed MtG, which was running popular mill decks during ice-age expansion (just before 4thed). MtG may have had mill decks before that but i only started CCG's with Ice Age MtG.

Just made this deck and all I want to tell you is THANK YOU ! It's just great and fun on the ladder, against huntards it's like "How about 8 healbots in your face ?" and against the controls you can just vanish their boards out and make them draw like hell :) It's just good against everything!

I main a ramp druid and when I saw a rogue opponent come up I was thinking ho hum another oil rogue - I was NOT prepared for this deck . With all the gang up and card fatigue the win streak I was on came to an end. This is a serious deck.

I had a deck just like that, only I didn't add any card drawing stuff, since I'm trying to out-fatigue my opponent. Drawing cards in your own deck just ruins that. Also, I would have liked to have death lords but I didn't have them, so I just used abominations instead.I also only own one preparation, so had to make do. But yeah the deck worked pretty well. Oh, I also added the pandarans that bounce things to your hand when they come out. They are perfect in the deck for added bounce and beef. I've also tried it with Kidnapper, but the cost is too high.

first game with this deck i face a hunter turn 1 he plays leper gnome i do nothing turn 2 he glaivezooka then i backstab his gnome and coin out deathlord and the guy conceded
