Not saying that chicano soul doesn’t have its own unique sound or that we didn’t contribute immensely to the genres of rock & roll and soul music, but it’s called Soul for a reason & it’s not because a white person or a Mexican invented it😂even rock & roll was an old school black slang term for having sex Lol.
