@@JudyStroyer-bk6fb Nope, Judy. Macron's opinion on whether we should stay in or not is irrelevant. What matters is if it benefits us. Which the paris agreement does benefit us, in creating new jobs in advanced tech sectors, lowering prices for consumers, and stabilizing climate change.
That's all that matters.

China in India are the worlds leading polluters. They have been given the status of, ‘ emerging nations’ and are exempt from the rules governing pollution in the Paris agreement. They signed onto it because it places a huge burden on the USA.

They talk about net zero as if it could benefit anybody in the west. We head back to the Middle Ages and the East rises. Nothing we can do under their plan could have any positive ramifications for us, it pales into insignificance when you consider what the BRICs countries are doing and will continue to do.

The dollar is sliding. And it will continue, given that new alliances are forming and oil deals are now being done in other currencies. The petrodollar becomes less relevant.

Before I respond to the ignorance on it's merits, I'm going to first talk about what matters, more than anything else.
Donald John Trump incited an insurrection. Period. End of conversation. There is nothing further to discuss.
Now, to answer the naive bullet points you raised.
Real wages and buying power is going up. Credit is not a partisan issue-- look at the trends. Americans living paycheck to paycheck (self reported- people who earn over 100k regularly say they live paycheck to paycheck) is consistently around 60% for decades. National debt is not a partisan issue. Alliances forming elsewhere... this is simply a non-sequitur. America has formed the AUKU, trilaterilized SK JPN USA, and expanded it's indo-pa-com presence. The "petrodollar" is still institutionalized and not going anywhere, particularly if the efforts of the Biden administration to solidify a deal with SA works out. The banking system survive it's national stress test through the collapse. This is a positive, not a negative.
And again, in summation, the only thing that matters is this question: did you incite an insurrection? Yes? Conversation is over. Nothing else to discuss.
