@@Asinatorsdaughter appends are 2nd skills set you can unlock with servant coins, for example, besides his main 3 skills, Karna have 3 other appends that can be unlocked with his servant coins, the append effects are the same for all servants with first one being extra card effect boosted (np gain, star gen and DMG), 2nd one starting np gauge ranging from 10 to 20% and 3rd one an anti-class DMG boost (berserker usually have certain % of Crit resist against specific class). As for how to use it, first you need that specific servant's coins to unlock them (120 coins for each skill) then you level them up normal like other skills (with mats and QP and lore at the end) You can check the internet for better explanation

well since kscope was so hard to get since it was 5star ce, they made a 4star ce imaginary element which at max level is 75% charge at the start, which was tailored made so that karna and arjuna can use it that is why they got 25% charge instead of 30 because back then 30% wasnt a thing yet 😂
