Excellent tutorial, and there is a tip at 2:14 that you can use Shift+F5 and replace the area together with the node tool.

I would have thought you'd take us through masks as you mention them in this your own tutorial. It's like saying this is important I can do it but it isn't important to people who watch your tutorials and don't know how to use a mask!!! Why not as you mention them not teach us.
