Droning in Staten Island

Fooling around with my DJI Phantom 3 Standard on a Birthday adventure-wander thru Staten Island (Happy Birthday Len!). Still trying to work out the kinks in making camera and drone movements fluid.

looks good. Just curious, do you know if you're supposed to be flying at Fort Wadsworth? Were any of the park rangers around to say it was ok? I would love to go get some pics and video with mine when the cruise ships come by but always thought it wouldn't be allowed there.

You are definitely not allowed to fly there! I want to fly there also. You can get video of the cruise ships by Alice Austin House. Excellent flying spot.

thanks - I'll have to try over there. I just went to the field on Richmond Ave and put it out more than 5,300 feet. Crazy
