Last seasons championship was harder imo. I doubt we will see another freak team like Ipswich this year, and Leicester, Southampton and Leeds were probably the best ever 3 relegated clubs
@@MenWithVen You are right, but it is difficult for teams to be relegated from the Premier League every year. Sunderland has 12 people in its field compared to other clubs, so the fans also have a big impact, I think the ranking will be as follows. 1. Brunley 2.sunderland 3.wba 4.m'boro 5th derby 6. hull city
I think the Championship will be a lot easier this time. Just the Yo Yo teams down from the Premier League this time. No Leicester, no Southampton. This is the chance for Sunderland.
I have followed the club for 15 years. And now is the best time ever to follow the club. Not least because of KLD's and Speakman's shrewd long term focus. Like Brentford but better, because we are actually a real club with a passionate fan base. Hopefully Le Bris will go on to achieve great things and some of the more sceptical fans will be won over along the way.
@@tam8197 typical mag.. lurking on a sunderland page. One of the youngest and most promising squads in the country, most of whom are tied down to long term contracts and are happy at the club. Aside from a wobble and some terrible decisions at the top second hald of last season we've gone from strength to strength since KLD came in.
@@steve24125 look, i'm sorry that i highlighted your total ignorance of your comparison to us and brentford. just 1 minute and access to google will show you what benham has done isn't the same as what kld is attempting. as for being a mag ? give ower, marra, get a grip ffs. if thats all you have ? i wouldn't have bothered. once again, apologies for making you look silly.

U can see Cirkin offside trapped him there for that Wednesday goal at 5:23. He steps back a metre and is immediately calling for offside without even looking behind himself

I DESPISED this club YEARS ago. Had a loser mentality, just wanted to stay up. Have been watching since league 1 to the come back up, and this club has life again.
Here is hoping that the fans do not get shafted in the last week of the transfer window. Does anyone really trust the owners not to leave the team in the lurch? Time to strengthen and build on a great start but I worry that in the higher echelons of the club leopards do not change their spots! Sunderland fans deserve something to get excited by and not the usual political shite at the club. This coming from a Partick Thistle fan! I hope Sunderland a have a great season. My home city.
This club deserves to be in the Premier League, it has many fans, but the league will be very difficult this year.

6 teams better than us imho (Burnley, Leeds, Middlesbrough, Watford, West Brom, Sheffield United) Beat them we go up. Beat most we get play offs

I’m so happy to see a Sunderland team playing with passion again
I agree. Fast, attacking football again. We have the players to do it.
Fantastic result.. the new pitch is looking perfect too! Haway the lads ⚪️🔴⚪️🔴

don't be silly, safc aren't doing anything close to what matthew benham did at brentford. stop embarrassing yourself.
@@tam8197Ok Brentford fan, but what has that got to do with OPs comment?

Well done Sunderland! ❤🎉
what a start .. what a start .. great result lads ..should of been more but i 'll take 4 instead of 6
Looking sharp, lets just do this quietly, one game at a time, under the radar. Burnley next. Dare to dream 😁
Grande sunderland.. una città così merita la premier League.
Great goals 🎉 6 now with 6 points and we conceded none. Solid start for the wizards ❤⚽️❤️⚽️❤️ #KTF #ftm
That roar did Mayendas first must’ve felt like dreamland for him
oh Windass,
gave after free kick for first,
attempted stupid flick for second,
played man onside for third.
FANTASTIC!!!!
Great to have the team back
I was there what a game, thank you
Love this commentator!

Brilliant defender
Perfect start to the league season,we are a different side with cirkin in it.
Hopefully get a proper number 9 in and maintain a serious play off push
Great effort lads

We are the only team in the championship not to concede a goal
here is the real sunderland
This is great, let's fight for promotion
We have to keep Clarke. Hopefully we can push off the Premier League vultures.
Poor Windass, he never touched Clarke for the free kick that led to the first one.
Good match lads
Well done lads

Could we see Sunderland finally back in the premiership after this season?
No
0:39 for a second I wondered if Dean Windass is still in the league. Google says he is 55...
The pass to Windass from the goalkeeper was shocking. Just sayin.😮
The highlights missed out our first corner which will go down as one of the worst set-pieces in history!
Then it clearly wasn’t a highlight!
@@pabloybert True.
How was it / who was offside though?
Burnley on Saturday will be interesting, there we land
