You took Bright line from FLL. It’s approximately 3 hrs from MIA ? Then you took an Uber/Lyft to port? How much was the cost? Because I cruise from MIA a lot and the airfare is expensive from Chicago. I’m looking for a more affordable way.
This was my granddaughter first cruise and she love it! But the airfare one way back was $700 for 2 Ridiculous😮

I just got off the Conquest in Miami yesterday!! 5 day to Roatan Honduras and Cozumel Mexico!!! My first cruise and I had a great time!!

Is priority the Faster to the Fun pass?
Diamond and Platinum status are considered priority. As well as guests staying in suites. Faster to the Fun will have priority getting on and off the ship and a designated guest services line, but not the same perks as the others. I personally don’t recommend Faster to the Fun. Just try to snag an early arrival appointment at check in. And hopefully you won’t have to go to guest services.
How is the food on the conquest ?

Love the one on one time you spend with the children for their own special cruise time. Great that you were able to book last minute for this cruise and save money on the travel down by taking the Brightline train from Orlando to Miami. I’ll have to look into that alternative. Great tip. Blue Iguana is a great Carnival Cruise food option. Wow that sail away was something else. Yes to covering eyes. My first cruise was on the Paradise and there were no dinner restaurant options only the MDR. It wasn’t bad for the 4-day cruise, but I love all of the new Emril inspired MDR food options available now. Thanks for sharing. Stay blessed. ✌🏾🚢🌺🥰

So crazy you were right in my backyard! We are only about 10 minutes from the brightline and take the train when we cruise as well. So, I'm planning a carnival conquest cruise but I see flying into Miami is expensive so is it cheaper to fly to Orlando and take brightline
Try flying in to Fort Lauderdale. We never fly in to Miami for that reason. You can then catch a $7 flix bus to Miami airport or Uber. Brightline can be costly depending on when you ride- day of week and time. The price fluctuates. I had a kids ride free promo and paid $49 for 2 of us. But it’s not always that price.

Nannies at cruiseship earn 800 dollars per month working 7 days a week, actually it is almost the best paying job. Cleaning pays 500 per month. All workers are from other countries, few from england, mostly indonesia,thailand, phillipines, ukraine and russia, few from latinoamerica and india

What time are cabins usually ready on ships? We were told because we have problems with crowds it’s probably better to do a later boarding so we can go right to the room and try and avoid some of the chaos that is boarding day
